“You close, Froggie?”
“Yes,” she huffs out. “Oh God, yes.”
Reaching between us, I find her clit again and roll it between my fingers.
That’s all it takes. She’s coming again.
“Yesss,” I hiss. Pushing up on my hands, I increase my movements. I need to go with her. To come. To unleash inside of her.
Each squeeze and moan of hers eggs me on. It’s not long before I’m coming inside her.
I throw my head back in relief, as the tension leaves my body. Pulling back, I groan as I watch some of my cum slip out of her.
Will I ever get used to this? I push my cum back inside as she moans in delight. I’m marking her as mine.Only mine.
And I never want to let her go.
I want to be with Alice.
For real.
I need to figure it out. No. I need to plan something for when I get back from the road trip. Sit her down and tell her how I feel. This isn’t something one does over the phone.
Alice is special, and she deserves someone who will pull out all the stops for her. It might take some time to plan, but based on how happy she is? I hope she’ll say yes.
Because Alice Burke being my wife? For real?
Nothing would make me happier.
Chapter Twenty-Six
ALICE
“You sure you want to do this?” Leon smacks a handful of papers down on the desk.
“Yes. If I’m going to run this place one day, I need to start doing this.”
“I won’t say no to the help.”
“Anything I need to know?” I ask, flipping through the stack.
“Other than the fact that the computer is old and decides to crap out half the time? Save often.”
He winks and is out the door.
“Thanks for nothing,” I mutter.
Half the papers are invoices to be paid and the other half are orders mixed in to log into the system.
Shaking my head at Leon’s organization, or lack thereof, I sort through everything to make my work easier.
The system isn’t too difficult, but he wasn’t wrong. It’s slow and glitchy. Definitely something I can change when I take over.
Will it be in a year? Two years? I don’t know, but once I get my trust, Enchanted Petals will be mine.
It’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do. Spend my dayssurrounded by beautiful blooms and bringing people happiness through them.
Even the monotony of paperwork can’t dampen my good mood at doing this. Stock ordered. Bills paid. Hours entered for our part-time employees. A few requests for events responded to.
