Before I can say a word, Dolly makes her presence known.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Jasper picks up the cat that brushes between his legs.
“And here I thought you were coming to see me.”
He kisses Dolly before setting her back on the ground.

“Good. Because, wow.” I wave a hand in front of him at the suit he’s wearing. It’s hard not to drool over this man.

Jasper pulls me in close, and I collide with the hard planes of muscle on his chest. Reaching up, I sink my fingers into the soft strands of hair at the nape of his neck and pull him down into a kiss.
A searing hot, toe-curling kiss as his tongue strokes along mine.
“Fuck, you taste amazing, Quinn,” he whispers against my mouth.
“Nice goal tonight,” I whisper back.
Jasper scoops me up into his arms with ease and holds me up against the wall.

“Had to impress you, didn’t I?” He drags his nose along my neck.
“If that goal hadn’t impressed me, you holding me like this certainly would.”

He holds up a brown paper bag I missed before. “This is a date, right?”
