What in the world could Duncan be talking about on TV? Hell, who would give him the airtime?
When the familiar music of Sports Weekly News Network’s most popular show starts, I sit up.
“Welcome toReally, Man?I’m Rhino Wellsley and I’m your host. Tonight, we have an exclusive interview with Detroit’s newest star, Duncan Fletcher.”
It cuts to footage of Duncan playing with Detroit. Damn it. He really is the better player out of the two of us. Even after a kickass stretch of games, it seems like no matter what I do, he’s one-upping me.
It cuts to what looks like a pretaped segment on the setof the show with the giant rhino logo stretched across the back of the studio. Duncan looks as smarmy as ever in a black shirt and his hair slicked back.
“Duncan, how has it been playing with Detroit?” Rhino asks him.
