“Olivia.” Liv walks over to us. “His girlfriend.”

Well, I guess that clears it up.

“Girlfriend? Wow. You didn’t tell me you were seeing anyone.” Natalie elbows me in the stomach. “I hope he treats you better than he treats me.”

I roll my eyes at my sister’s dramatics. She is the spitting image of me with the same brown hair and dark eyes. Right down to the smile that is on her face.

“And how exactly do I treat you?” I ask, grabbing her suitcase and dragging it inside.

“Leaving me all alone on the holidays?” she teases me. “What a great brother.”

“Yes, leaving you with your husband was such a hardship.”

Natalie waves me off and drops down onto the sofa with a sigh. “If only he could’ve come with me.”

“Everything okay?” I ask, heading into the kitchen to start another pot of coffee. Liv takes a seat on the chair next to the sofa.

Natalie smiles at me as the beans start to brew. “Oh, we’re great. We couldn’t get two last-minute tickets, so we celebrated yesterday morning and he was going to spend today with his parents. I made the incorrect assumption you would be alone.”

“Sorry, I guess that’s my fault,” Liv says, looking nervous.

Sitting up, Natalie spins to look at her. “Don’t be sorry. I’m happy he’s not spending the holidays alone.”

“Have you ever been to London?” Liv asks.

Natalie shakes her head. “No, this is my first time.”

“Well, Tag has practice tomorrow, so why don’t I show you around? Maybe we can get tea.”

Natalie’s face lights up at the offer. “I would love that. Considering he has told me nothing about you.”

“That is definitely his fault.” Liv laughs.

“Okay, I don’t need you two ganging up on me hour one.”

Natalie winks at Liv. “No, we’ll save that for tomorrow.”

The two of them are chatting away, and damn, if this isn’t the perfect day. Getting to spend the holiday with my sister and Liv?

I don’t think anything could be more perfect.

Chapter Twenty-Five

OLIVIA

“Seeing as you’ve never been to London, is there anything in particular you’d like to see?” I ask Natalie.

With Tag off at practise, I didn’t want Natalie to be alone today. Try as I might, I’m nervous. It feels important for her to like me.

“Everything?” She laughs as the Tube rattles on towards central London. “That probably doesn’t help much.”

I smile back at her. “I’ll make sure you see everything then.”

“Do you have a favorite place?”

“The Tower Bridge. It’s wonderful. I love the views of the city, especially at night.”

Thinking about that evening with Tag, just the two of us on the walkway, has a flush creeping up my cheeks. It is very much something I don’t want to be thinking about while out with Tag’s sister.
