No, you don’t. Way to be professional, Liv.

Thanks,

Chapter Seventeen

TAG

“Ithink you have an ulterior motive for bringing me to a museum today, Liv.”

“Mmm, and what motive might that be?”

We pass through the ticket turnstile as our tickets get scanned. “I think you want to make sure things stay PG today.”

A blush stains her cheeks as we walk into the main room of the museum. A soaring, glass-domed ceiling greets us. Shadows spill across the marble floor. Long, stone columns grace each wall, leading to different areas of the building.

“As enjoyable as that was, Tag,” Liv tells me, “you cannot rent out this museum for us to do that again.”

“I could ask.”

“Stop.” Liv grabs my hand and leads me through one of the archways. Wood, herringbone floors echo beneath our feet. “I love this place and want to show you more of my favorite things. Besides, we can’t be outside in the rain.”

If I had to show her everything I loved in here, it would be a short tour.

Her.Just Liv.

The thought slams into me out of nowhere.

Damn. In the few short months I’ve been here, I’ve fallen for Liv. This woman who is my opposite in every way.

Quiet and shy where I’m loud and never meet a stranger.

More than ten years my junior.

Someone who pushes back at me every chance she gets.

I love this woman. Every side she shows me. The daring side. The reserved side. Every little piece of her, I love.

“This way.”
