There’s a knock on the door.
“I’ll grab it.”
One of Simon’s men is at the door. “I was told we need to be back at the ranch.”
“We’ll be ready shortly.”
I close the door and turn back to Ellie and Charlotte. “Time to get going.”
“I’ve got a call to take for the foundation.” Ellie looks upset. “I’m sorry to cut the afternoon short.”
“That means you get to come back.”
“And buy more of everything.”
“Your money is no good here.”
They both shake their heads at me. “No. We’re paying you for all of this. It will be money well spent.”
“Fine,” I relent, begrudgingly. “I’ll meet you outside.”
Giving them privacy, I head back into the shop to find Simon.
“Everything go well?” He’s waiting by the door to my studio.
“Went great.”
He’s standing at attention, ready to pounce if a need arises. If only I could pounce on him and see what he’s really like in bed.
“Don’t worry, Simon. We left some lingerie for her too.” Charlotte’s smile is wicked as she leaves the dressing room. She and Ellie are laughing as they take everything to the front to check out.
My face runs hot. Simon doesn’t let anything show on his, but I can see the slight widening of his eyes and the way his eyes dip lower.
I’d kill for him to see me in one of my pieces. To feel his hands on my skin. Feel that stubble of his against my inner thighs.
“I’ll see you tonight?” Simon drops close to my ear.
Does he know how much he affects me?
“You will.”
Charlotte and Ellie wave as they leave the store, Simon and his guys with them.
I only hope the guilt of lying to everyone will have subsided by then. But if I get to keep this feeling that I’ve had today with these beautiful women?
It’ll be worth it.

SIMON
“Wow. This place looks amazing.”
“You’ve got that right.” Layla’s eyes are taking everything in.
Gemma went above and beyond for tonight’s event. Wanting to include all the children that are visiting for her wedding, she set up a bonfire and movie night.
Huge picnic blankets and pillows are set up in front of a screen playing some animated movie for the kids. A long table is spread out next to the bonfire with marshmallows and chocolate for making s’mores.
