“I’ll allow it. Now, rest up, because I don’t plan on you going anywhere tonight.”

Fuck,if last night wasn’t the most incredible night of my life. Ruby waltzed into the shop yesterday, and my entire world shifted. I’ve never felt this way about another woman before. And it’s not just because of the amazing sex. Best sex of my life, but there’s a beautiful, strong-willed woman under all those tattoos that has pulled me in.
“Someone’s up early.” Ruby’s sleepy voice pulls my attention away from the coffee machine.
“Didn’t want to disturb you.” She looked like a dream, laying there peacefully. There was no way I was going to wake her up.
“Letting me sleep in and waking up to coffee? You’re perfect.”
“Backatcha, love.” Ruby hops up onto the counter, pulling her silky robe closer to her.
“What’s on your list for the day?”
I pull her to the edge. “First, I’m going to eat this perfect pussy of yours. Then, we’re going to take a shower. And after that? I’ll do my own walk of shame, because I want to get started on your tattoo. Because the sooner I add more beauty to your sexy body, the better.”
“Well, let’s get started on that to do list.”
ChapterThree

“Are you ready?” I snap my glove, looking at the pattern laid out on Ruby’s side. It took me approximately point-five seconds to finish. I couldn’t wait to see her again. Couldn’t wait to get my hands on her. The peacock’s head starts just above her waist, and the tail and flowers trail down her thigh. It’s going to take a few sessions, but I can’t wait.
“Waiting on you, grandpa.” She gives me a cheeky smile that I return.
“And who’s the one holding the gun here?” I give it a good buzz before I grab the ink.
“Mmm, I do like a man in control.” I give her an eye roll. “Fine, sometimes.”
Bloody hell, how did I get so lucky that this girl wandered into our shop? “I’ll remember that for next time.”
“Oh, there will definitely be several more times. I may even need some assistance with after care.”
Ruby lets out a deep breath as I start moving the tattoo gun over her side. “Is the full treatment something you give all your clients?” Her voice is husky as it escapes.
“Just the leggy brunettes that come in.”
“Guess I’ll have to stake out the shop then and turn them all away.”
“If it means I’ll get to stare at you all day, then scare away.”
Ruby is easy to work on. She doesn’t need breaks, and keeps making flirty comments. It’s been easy to get swept up into her bubble.
“So, what’s the story behind getting this tattoo?” I wipe the excess ink of her skin, inspecting my progress. Grabbing more ink, I start on the body.
“I told you it’s about optimism and hope. But also a fresh start. I’ve been stuck in a rut since my boyfriend walked out on me last year, and finally feel like I’m myself again.”
A low growl bursts me. “Who the feck would be so stupid to leave you?”
“He just walked out one day after three years of dating. Said he didn’t love me anymore.”
I love how open Ruby is. Her chocolate brown eyes show everything. She doesn’t hide who she is, and doesn’t hide her past. “That’s it? No warning? Anything?” My hand stills on her side as she looks up at me.
“None. I thought we were blissfully in love. It shook me to my core. Everything was so settled between us. I guess I was too comfortable.”
“Sounds like he’s a wanker.”
