“I love how hard your tits get for me.” He tweaks one, rolling it between his thumb and forefinger.
“You make me so crazy. Why are you so damn good at this?” I whisper the words as Leo takes me over the edge. My shout is swallowed up with the rush of noise as we start moving. My legs are liquid as enough energy to power the park pulses through me.
“Seeing you come under my touch makes me crazy. You are the sexiest woman I've ever met.” Grasping my chin, Leo turns my face to him. Desire blackens his irises as he pulls his fingers out of me and sucks them into his mouth. I chew on my lip, his moans causing minor pulses to rack my already sated body.
“When you said we'd spend the afternoon at the amusement park, I didn't think I'd be getting this much amusement.” I waggle my eyebrows at him.
Leo smirks as he gives me an easy kiss.
“What can I say? I want to give you the best memories of Sydney, so when you're old and grey, you'll smile when you think of this place. This day.”
We come to a stop, and the attendant opens the bucket door. Leo takes my hand, helping me out.
“I won't smile thinking of this place.” I wrap an arm around Leo's strong waist. My body still tingles from my earlier release. “I'll smile thinking of the handsome man who I got to see it with.”
Chapter Sixteen
Reagan
“Aren’t you Mr. Suave?”
Leo stepping out of a black town car is the stuff of wet dreams. White shirt left unbuttoned at the collar, blue jacket and pants. He exudes power. And when he turns those brown orbs on me? I nearly come unglued.
“Nothing but the best for you.” The tips of his toes hit the points of my heels. I ditched the professional skirt and blouse. Now that I’m starting to expand, I had to buy new clothes. And the stretchy, curve-hugging black dress that hits at my knees has Leo’s eyes filling with lust.
“Like what you see?” I grasp his biceps, needing his steadiness to keep from swooning. Because Leo is swoon-worthy.
Leo cups my face, his lips a breath away from mine. “You know I do.” And then his lips find mine in a knee-melting kiss. I could get lost in his kiss. In the way he takes command of my body. In the scratchiness of his beard and the softness of his tongue. The way he knows my body better than anyone else. It’s like no man existed in my world before Leo.
“If we don’t get going now, we’re not going to make it.” Leo drops another kiss on the corner of my mouth.
My eyes are still closed, relishing his scent swirling around me as I try to come back down to earth after that kiss. “Then stop kissing me.”
“Mmm. I don’t know if I can do that.” Another peck on my lips.
“Too bad.” I push Leo off me but keep hold of his jacket. “I want to see what this big surprise you have is.”
Leo gives me one of his face-splitting smiles. “I have a feeling you’ll love it.”
“I’d love anything if you’re taking me there.”
“A dinner cruise?”The car pulls up to the harbour, a large boat with lights hanging from the front docked nearby. No matter how long I’m here, I’ll never tire of this view. Of the Opera House lit up against the early fall night. Of the bridge crossing over the water. Of the now-explosive memories of our day at Luna Park.
When Leo came into my office earlier today to inform me of our impending date, I couldn’t even begin to imagine what he might’ve dreamed up. He’s doing everything in his power to give me the year that I wanted, even if it’s looking a little different now.
Leo steps around me, wrapping me in his warmth. “Just another way for you to see the city.”
My heart stutters in my chest. I never imagined Leo turning into the man he has. He’s stepped up for me in every way. When I found out I was pregnant, I thought Leo would show up every now and then. I mean, what man likes being told his one-night stand is expecting?
But not Leo. Leo took me in during my hour of need, when I had a meltdown. Instead of kicking me out on my ass, he’s become the most important person in my life. And I couldn’t imagine doing this without him.
“Welcome, Miss Foster. Mr. Scott. We’re chuffed to have you here this evening.” We’re each given a glass as we step aboard.
“Don’t worry, it’s sparkling cider.” Leo’s voice is hot against my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
“Your table is out front. Feel free to let us know if you need anything. We’ll be pushing off here shortly.”
“Are we alone?” I ask as Leo takes my hand, guiding me toward the front of the boat. The city is spread out before us, as is a table, decorated with flowers and a glittering candle, set for two.
