Gianna (27 Years)

“I’ve got good news and bad, which do you want to hear first?” Zayne looked at me, ignoring Salvatore’s scowling features as he walked up to us and accepted the coffee I held out to him.

I rolled my eyes at both men. “Considering I’ve been having a bad day, the good news.”

Zayne’s expression was sly, almost like he was toying with me. “They have room.”

“Good, let’s go then.” I took a step forward.

“You haven’t heard the bad news,” his soft words stopped me. I glared at him over my shoulder and he chuckled as if he was enjoying himself at my expense. I arched a brow. He held up a key card. “There’s only one room. Some doctor’s convention has all the hotels booked.”

My breath faltered, trying not to imagine spending a night with these two men. Lord knew that was a disaster waiting to unfold. “What are our options?” My gaze flicked between the two of them.

“What’s wrong, bella, scared we might be too much for you,” Salvatore’s scowl into a glint amusement as he verbalized my inner thoughts.

To my surprise, Zayne’s smile was just as smug. When did these two decide to collaborate on sexually tormenting me? “I hate you!” I hissed.

“Him?” The two of them asking in unison, jerking their thumbs at the other.

“Both of you,” I grunted. Cassius' disclosures about these two men left me in a foul mood and I had no intention of playing house with them.

“Why? We saved your life,” Zayne said.

“Why bother, you’ll both just fuck it up again,” I huffed and strutted toward the hotel, not missing his sexy chuckle. Fuck, this was going to be one long night.

When Zayne swiped the keycard to the room, I entered first and stopped short just inside the room. My gaze fixed on the sparse décor, which wasn’t what worried me.

“I might’ve forgotten to mention there’s only a king bed in the room.” Zayne came up behind me.

“You think?” sarcasm dripped from my lips as I swung sharply to face the two men, their calm expressions annoying the crap out of me. How the hell had I not seen this coming? Oh, wait, maybe because I got drugged, kidnapped, tricked by my father who’s not my real father, then saved by these two, devils go forth and sin, gift to women and now I stood in a room that had just one bed and a single armchair. What was I missing? Condoms perhaps, my cynicism knew no end right now. Then again, they’d both fucked me raw, so that wasn’t even a consideration.

“You two take the bed, I’ll take the chair.” Salvatore was the first to break the silence.

“Nope. I’m not sleeping with him,” I pointed at Zayne and his brow shot up.

“Fine then you and I will take the bed and Zayne can have the chair,” Salvatore replied.

“Nope. I’m not sleeping with you either.” I crossed my arms over my chest, bursting his bubble.

“What do you propose we do then?” Zayne sniggered, raking a hand through his hair and earning a not-so-subtle ‘fuck you’ look from Salvatore.

“You two take the bed and I’ll take the chair,” I said, sleep already seeping into my veins.

They looked at me, glanced at each other then, shook their heads. “Not happening,” they said in unison.

“Then sleep in the damn shower for all I care,” I muttered, heading for the chair but a strong arm around my waist stopped me before I was hoisted up and tossed on the bed.

“It’s a big bed, bella, we can all share.” Salvatore towered over me, the low tenor in his voice a clear warning not to argue.

Next to him, Zayne lifted an eyebrow in a mock challenge. Once more the thought of who of these two was the lesser evil popped up. This time, I had an answer. They were on equal footing, even if they didn’t know it, yet. Although I’d proved my strength, somehow, they had it in them to treat me like a child. I was so fucked.

“Whatever,” I grumbled.
