“Extremely professional,” I finished his sentence, strangely jealous that other men visited just to speak to her. “Boyfriend?”

“She pretty much keeps to herself. So, I have no idea.” Trent straightened then, as an afterthought, added, “You want me to make that dinner reservation tonight?”

I frowned. “For?”

“It’s been a while, hasn’t it, Ray. The dating thing?” I shrugged at his question. It was no lie. “Sianna doesn’t know I was kidding about dinner, but you can attend in my place?” My brow shot up at his suggestion. “Don’t get any one-night stand ideas with her, though.” I let out a sarcastic laugh at his advice then shook my head. “No, dinner then?” I nodded.

I don’t chase pussy. Period.

WHILE I DIALED RUVASH’Snumber, I couldn’t help thinking about Rayden and the fact that he was a Princeton. I so didn’t see that coming. Maybe it was a good thing I didn’t get that job.

“Hey, sweetie.” Ruvash cut short my reflections.

“Hey. Why do I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages?”

He chuckled. “Well, two weeks between us is ages.” He was right. We had a strict regimen that entailed meeting for either lunch or dinner every week.

“So? How was it?”

He let out a low squeal of delight. “Absolutely gorgeous. I even came back with a potential date.” I laughed at his sly chuckle. Ruvash had traveled to Paris to participate in a hairstylist competition at some fashion extravaganza. He’d just returned the previous morning. “I secured third place. Not what I intended, but this opens doors for me now. I may be hitting the big league, sweetie.”

“Oh, babe, I’m so happy for you.” A year ago, Ruvash had finally made his dream come true. Owning a salon and for the last three months, he’d be entering all sorts of competitions. “It couldn’t have happened to a sweeter person.” I smiled. “Dinner tonight?”

“Absolutely.” He paused then, “If you’re okay with it, can I bring a date.” I could hear the smile in his voice.

“Oh, definitely, I can’t wait to meet him. Seven? Pappas’s?” I referred to our favorite Italian restaurant.”

“Yep.”

“Okay, chat soon. Love you.”

“Love you three, sweets.” He blew me a kiss before cutting the call.

I turned away from the window to find Rayden leaning against the frame of my office door, his green gaze making a slow sweep over my body.
