Before smashing my lips against his.

“God, I’m so glad you’re all right,” I whispered down the back of his throat.

He gripped my ass cheeks, pulling me closer into his growing thickness. “I’d do anything to keep you safe.”

I peered over my shoulder and reached out for Ranger. “Come here.”

Dutch stepped off to the side, passing me into Ranger’s longing embrace. He picked me up and swung me around, causing me to wrap my legs around his waist just to hold on for the ride. I climbed him like a fucking tree. I scooted up his body until my face hovered over his. And when I cupped his cheeks, the words fell effortlessly from my mouth.

“I love you,” I said.

His gaze widened before he sat on the edge of the bed. “I love you too, Naomi.”

I reached out for Dutch and felt him take my hand. “I love you, Dutch.”

He closed the distance between us and kissed the top of my head. “I love you too, lucky girl.”

“Troop?”

He came up behind me and threaded his hands through my hair. He pulled my head back, crashing a kiss to my lips from upside down. I groaned down the back of his throat. I felt Ranger’s dick rising to the occasion between my legs as Dutch feathered his light fingertips over my exposed skin. And as Troop’s lips parted from mine, I wasn’t the first one to speak.

“I love you, pretty girl.”

I reached up to cup his face any way that I could. “I love you too, Troop. I love you all so much, and I don’t even know how it happened.”

Ranger chuckled. “That makes two of us.”

“Three,” Dutch said.

Troop shrugged. “It’s not so hard to figure out.”

I returned to my upright position before sliding off Ranger’s lap. “Really, now? Fill me in, then.”

Troop shrugged. “Simple. I’m awesome. They’re awesome. You’re sexy as hell, and very awesome yourself.”

“Agreed,” Dutch said.

“Hell, yeah,” Ranger said as he stood.

Troop closed the distance between our bodies. “And now, you can do whatever you want. Love whoever you want. Be whoever you want to be without that asshole breathing down the back of your neck.”

Ranger took my hand and slowly turned me around. “You’re free, Naomi. Free to stay, or go. Free to find another home, or make yours here.”

“But the important thing,” Dutch said as he crooked his finger beneath my chin and turned my attention in his direction, “is that you’re free of him. Forever. So, whatever you choose, we’ll support.”

“Because that’s what people do when they’reactuallyin love,” Troop said.

I turned back around, not knowing who to focus on as the whole of reality settled onto my shoulders. These men. These dark, dangerous men who led their life in the gray area of society had somehow swept me off my feet after stealing me away from a home I thought I loved. A home I thought I enjoyed. A home that I thought held my future. I couldn’t believe it. It was almost too good to be true. And yet, as I reached my hand up to cup Troop’s cheek, I knew I couldn’t leave them.

I knew where my future lied, and it didn’t lie where I thought it did.

“What’s this?” I asked.

I smoothed my finger over a freckle I’d never seen on Troop’s face before. But, when it came off on my finger, I held it up to my face. It was more red than brown, and when I brought my other hand to my face to the dried blood beneath my nose, a chunk broke off. My hands sat in front of me as I compared the two. Comparing the dried blood on my face versus the dried blood on Troop’s face.

“Are you bleeding anywhere?” I asked.

“He’s not the one bleeding,” Ranger glowered.
