We all start laughing and someone hands me a coffee. "I think you might need this. Because today we are going shopping." It's Winne and I take the coffee off her.
I sit down and I can hear the ladies talking to me, but I'm looking over at Tank. He's looking at me and it's like it's just the two of us in the room. Wow, I can feel him from over there.
"Earth to Lyssa," Nova says, laughing.
"Sorry, my mind was somewhere else."
"We know where your mind was, Lyssa." Winnie laughs.
"So what are we going shopping for today?" I ask.
"Who needs to have a plan, we are going window shopping with a view to trying on and buying." Jessa has it to a tee.
"Sounds good to me."
Winnie and Nova get up. "See you all down here in half an hour." They leave the kitchen and one by one the ladies move to kiss their men and then leave the room. I sit there and wait for Tank to come over to me. I don't feel comfortable enough yet togo to him, and my brother is sitting next to him so, yeah that could be awkward.
Tank comes over to me. "Shopping, huh?"
"Yeah."
He hands me some cash, but I don't take it. "Tank, I'm not taking money from you, I don't need anything, I'm all good."
"Lyssa, I'm your man and I'm giving you money to buy something nice."
"I did that the other day with your money too. Really, I can't."
He puts his hand behind my neck and pulls me so that our foreheads are touching. "Baby, I want you to go out and enjoy yourself. If you see something nice I want you to have the money to buy it. If you don't spend it, that's fine, but I don't want you to be second guessing anything." He kisses me and I feel him putting the money into my jeans pocket.
"Thanks, Tank." I peck him on the lips and he kisses me harder.
"No, a peck like that could piss me off. Always give me everything you have, baby."
We kiss and fight for control with our tongues. I let him win because he's a big, bad biker, right?
I get into one of the cars, and Tank has come to say goodbye, he can't come with us today. He has some VP work to do with the other brothers. Two of the prospects are driving us and they will be in charge of watching us. It's not that they don't trust us, but they know that we can all be targets because of who the Rebel Hearts are. And, especially with the Vasquez family potentially after me. They know that the two prospects will protect us with their lives.
We have a great day walking in and out the shops, trying things on and I even manage to buy some nice underwear especially for Tank.
We stop and have some food. "Jeez this place is really busy today."
"It sure is. I wonder if there is something going on. We just need to stick together," Winnie says, looking around.
"Nah it's just the weekend," the prospect, Danny says.
"We'll have a look in some other stores and then go back to the clubhouse." Winnie watches as each of us says yes and nods our head.
"This is the big department store, so make sure no one wanders off," Danny says as he walks ahead of us and Tyler, the other prospect with us, is walking behind us.
We get a couple of things, and then we leave. "Just wait there ladies, we will grab the cars and bring them over. Saves you walking with your bags," Danny says as he takes a few bags and we watch the two of them leave.
I step away from the ladies and take out my phone, calling Tank. It only rings twice when he answers.
"Hey, baby, did you miss me?"
I laugh. "No, but I did buy something that you might like."
"Yeah, do you want to send me a picture?"
