Each day we killed one of his boys, we made sure the cleaning crew was there to remove the body. The only smells left behind were shit and piss from Rafe losing control of himself over and over again.

Juelz and Money would come in to make sure he was fed and had water — just enough to keep his dumb ass alive. Today was his day. I stood upright from the opening of the warehouse.

I waved Juelz over. He grabbed a bucket of water and tossed it into Rafe's face. He woke up fighting for air like he was drowning. I don't know how he was sleeping with his arms hanging above his head anyway. That shit had to be uncomfortable.

I clapped my hands as I made my way over to the chair placed a few feet in front of him.

"Damn. I never thought I would see you here on the day you passed. I figured we would have all the thorns riding through the Haven streets in your honor — you know, a flag with your biker name and shit. Respect."

"Fu-fu-fu — you," Rafe huffed out.

I chuckled and placed my hand over my heart.

"This shit is really fucking with my heart, man. I just have to know — how did you think you were gone pull this shit off? I was too nice, huh?" I asked.

Rico and Money laughed behind me. I turned around to face them and their expressions went cold. I didn't want this muthafucka to think this was a game. I was wasting my time with him when I could be with my girl. My need for skittles was coming back heavy. Since I'd been with Solana, she had replaced that need in me.

"Get — it — over with."

I nodded and shrugged. I was ready for all of this to be over anyway. I stood and pulled a gun from behind my back, placed the silencer on, and raised it.

"Any last words before your trip to Hell?" I asked.

Rafe choked on his blood and chuckled. "See you there."

I smiled. "I'll make sure your girl gets that cheese basket."

Before he could respond, I pulled the trigger, causing his head to snap back.

"Damn, that shit was clean as fuck," Money said behind me as he walked forward to pull Rafe's body down onto the tarp below.

I slipped my gun into the back of my pants, then made my way toward the door.

"Get this cleaned up. And make sure his body is practically unrecognizable in the region where he was getting those drugs to sell — so I can send his bitch a cheese basket."

They burst into laughter, but I was serious as hell.

"Aye, yo — what the fuck is she gone do with a cheese basket?" Juelz asked.

I shrugged. "Shit if I know. I need to go get my fix."

Juelz shook his head and began instructing the others on what to do. I planned to break down this gun and get rid of it, then get my fix at Sugar Kissed.

I grabbed my helmet and rode almost an hour out of town, then broke the gun down, tossing the pieces into different parts of the river. I'd worn gloves and made sure it wasn't my personal gun, so there was no way I'd be tied to it. But this was an extra precaution.

I got back on my bike and took the long way to clear my mind. I needed to stop by my loft to shower and reset. I respected Solana too much to come to her with death all over my clothes.

It took me almost two hours to make it back to the loft, shower, and change. Once I was certain my head was on straight, I got on my bike and rode down to Chrome to park it in the back. I figured I could walk to Sugar Kissed from there since I was going to relieve Benny of his duty.

I jogged across the street and walked until I made it to her shop. I couldn't just walk in. I stood on the sidewalk and watched her smile while talking to a customer.

Today Solana was wearing her branded t-shirt with a pair of jeans, her hair laid down with a few curls. I put my hands in my pockets as I continued to admire everything that was her. Soon her eyes found mine and her smile seemed to get brighter at the sight of me.

She waved her hand, telling me to come inside. I nodded and caught the door as one of her customers was walking out. I walked around her line and stepped up behind her to place a kiss against her cheek, then went to the back to wash my hands. I put on one of the aprons she kept back there and grabbed a set of gloves.

I checked my watch and noticed her lunch break was in another ten minutes. Once I had everything I needed, I walked back out to stand beside her.

Solana turned to face me with a smirk and a lift of her brow.
