After hanging up, I looked back over the lake. Maybe it was time for me to join a coven. I liked the witches I’d met from Dina’s coven, and they seemed loyal and responsible, not like the one my mom had been in, where they fought petty feuds, not caring who got hurt by them.
“Hey, Sev?” I asked. He hummed in response. “Would you mind if I joined Dina’s coven? I don’t even know if they truly want me to join, but I feel like I’m ready for that step, you know? Like I’m finally where I should be in life. And being covenless has only proven to be a huge mistake.”
Sev sighed, then to my surprise, he spoke. “If you wish for it, then I will support you. Know that whatever you wish to do, you can. Ionly ask that you inform me of changes so I at least know ahead of time.”
“How can you be so perfect?” I whispered. Because he was. He somehow knew just what to say, even when he only grunted, it was still comforting. The way he spoke so calmly and with that poised tone of his. It was both sexy and so damn comforting.
He didn’t answer, instead he licked my neck, then sucked on my skin, possibly bruising it. But I didn’t care. I groaned, allowing him to do whatever he wanted to my neck. His hand went under my shirt and quickly found my nipple. He tugged on it, teased it. I moaned and closed my eyes. His other hand unbuttoned my pants, freeing my hardening dick to the nature around us. Not that anyone could see us here and not that I cared if they could.
“Mine,” he growled into my ear, then licked my neck before biting down, making me arch my back from the pure pleasure it caused. With his teeth embedded in my neck, he sucked, causing ripples of pleasure to rush through me, his hand stroking my dick. The wind was caressing my heated skin, letting me feel so many sensations all at once. He sped up his movements on my dick, his teeth still inside me.
With a firm grip, he twisted his hand near the head, making me moan loudly. I bit down on my lip, my thighs shaking as my spine started to tingle. His thumb rubbed over my tip as his hard cock pressed against my ass through our clothes.
I rubbed back against him, feeling just how hard he was for me. I came, my release rushing through me. “Sev!” I called out as my cum covered his fist, his teeth releasing me. I slumped back against him. Spent and a little dizzy from losing all that blood. I felt amazing.
Sev was still holding my now limp dick, his breathing sounded labored, but even if he hadn’t come himself, I was sure he felt just as satisfied as I did. Even so, when the dizziness left my brain, I turned in his lap, gently easing down so I kneeled in front of him instead, then made sure he felt just how grateful I was to be his.
Chapter 24
Severin
It had been six days since Peter and Giro had bonded in the dining room. There was no evidence of their bonding in said room, thankfully. After the new table was delivered, we had all been eating dinner together, me and Peter reduced to grunting and huffing as a way of communicating, much to the others amusement. At least I was not alone in my predicament, my dear brothersuffered alongside me.
Astrea was getting better each day, Dina helping her recover more quickly with potions and special soups, that, to be honest, looked and smelled awful.
I was eyeing one of those soups right now, as Astrea slurped it down next to me. Felix had demanded to sit in his own chair, so I was left without him in my arms while he ate. Being grumpy about it would do me no good, not when Giro and Felix had banded together against me and Peter, telling us off when they needed their space, whateverthatmeant.
Peter was sitting alone, too, his fated eating happily beside him. Seeing Giro bloom this past week had been amazing. He was far from the man we had taken with us from his coven. Instead of the scared, angry, and hurt young witch, was this confident and funny man. He loved Peter immensely, and my brother, him. So, I could only love Giro, too.
“Oh, and Severin?” Dina said, gaining my attention.
“Yes,” I replied, turning to face her.
“The Villov Pack is coming next week for a meeting. I was told you knew their pack leader?”
I nodded. “Samantha. I met her around seventy years ago.”
“Perfect. They have information on the Silver Lock Coven, something they preferred to tell us in person. I’ll make rooms ready for their stay. It shouldn’t be more than three days, but I would rather them be comfortable while visiting.”
She truly was the Castle Boss.
I gave her a fond smile. “Thank you, Dina. I appreciate it. Let us hope what information they have will be well received.”
Giro snorted. “Doubt it. I just hope they’ll be able to actually tell you something.” He sighed, then added with a whisper, “Unlike me.”
Peter grabbed his hand and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. “It is not your fault, my darling.”
Giro blushed, then continued eating his chicken and vegetables.
“Felix?” Claire asked, her tone nervous.
“Yes?”
“I was wondering, and I know it’s not really my place, but maybe you should sell the store?”
It was something Felix and I had discussed while gardening yesterday. So, I already knew his answer. “The only reason I haven’t sold it yet, or started the process of it, was because you’re working there, too. And I wouldn’t take away your job, at least not without consulting you about it first.”
Claire gave him a soft smile. “I appreciate it, but it seems that neither of us wants to return. Astrea even decided to sell the house.”
