“Well, if I have to explain it, then the whores haven’t been doing it right.” I know as soon as the words came out of my mouth, he’s going to be pissed.
I see the fury in his eyes as Amy scurries away from me. He’s on me before I can even put my cock back in my pants, punching me square in the face as a string of curse words fly from his mouth. My head flies backward from the impact.
My hands shoot out instinctively, taking hold of his kut and pushing him backward.
“What the fuckin’ hell?” I yell at him as I jump up from the couch, quickly doing my pants back up.
“How the hell can you be with that whore, when you’re with Vee?” Pure venom is laced in his words as Luke steps up beside him.
“If she finds out about this, it will kill her,” Luke says, his voice calmer, but I notice how his fists are tightly clenched at his sides.
Our encounter seems to have caught the attention of all the members present in the clubhouse, and the room has fallen silent.
I lift my hand, wiping my nose, noticing the blood on it. I laugh. “Seriously, man, this is what it’s come to? Punching your brother for gettin’ his cock sucked?”
“It’s more than that.” Doc speaks up as Luke glares at me with a tense jaw, and I swear I can hear his teeth grinding. “You’re with her,” he gestures toward Amy, and I notice that Onyx is watching, but still has Janice sucking him off. “I thought you loved Veronica. But instead of working on the issue at hand, you ditch our chat to do this.”
“Why do I need to be in the damn chat? I made myself clear to her and to both of you. I ain’t sharing her. The only thing I’ll share is a damn club whore.” Then, knowing it’ll hit them as hard as it does me, I say something I don’t even mean at all. “Unless Vee is our new club whore, then by all means, I’ll make sure to take her into the stockroom at the bar tonight and fuck her.”
I don’t even get a chance to breathe after I speak. Both Luke and Doc are on me in an instant. Fists fly, and I can’t even tell who is throwing the punches; they come too fast. I manage to get a few hits in myself, connecting with bone and flesh before we’re all pulled apart.
“What the fuck’s going on in here?” Earl’s loud voice bellows across the room.
“Nothin’, Prez,” I say as I jerk myself out of Bash’s arms, wiping the blood from my mouth. “Just a difference of opinion.”
“Enlighten me about what that opinion is,” he demands with his arms crossed over his chest as he stares at the three of us. Tank still has hold of Luke, and he’s fighting to break free from his hold. Doc is glaring at me, and I’m happy to say he’s sporting a bloody nose and one of his eyes is swollen. When neither of usspeaks, he growls. “Looks like our prospects might be getting a break on their grunt work if one of you doesn’t start speakin’.”
Still, we keep our mouths shut. None of us is willing to be the one to air our dirty laundry. To be a rat.
Earl shouts. “If you’re not an officer or one of the three in the fight, get your asses out of here now.”
All the men and the club girls scatter. No one wants to bear the wrath of Earl’s anger.
“We don’t have an audience now, so fuckin’ spill,” he orders. Sam, our VP, stands at his side, matching his position, the same scowl etched on his face.
But still, we say nothing. I look over at the two men, one of whom I considered more than just my club brother, but also my best friend. They gaze back at me, lips clenched tightly together.
“It’s Vee,” a deep voice says from behind me. I turn my head over my shoulder and see Ryker.
“Son, last I checked you weren’t an officer, nor were you part of the fight,” Sam says with a sigh.
“And yet when has that kept me out of those meetings? Besides, they weren’t going to tell you. Each of them is in love with Vee. But old Hank here doesn’t like to share. So he wants her to choose. She won’t. There you have it, long story short, and my work here is done. I’m off to see my wife and son.”
“Tell Ash, I’ll be by tonight to see my grandson.” Earl cuts in, never taking his gaze off of us.
I watch as Ryker leaves, wishing I was following behind him instead of in Earl’s fucking hot seat.
“So this is about a girl.” Sam’s voice pulls my attention back to him.
“It’s nothing. Like I told them, they can have her.”
Luke spews a bunch of curse words, and Doc holds him back.
“Be careful how you speak. She isn’t a club girl, and she’s our…” Sam motions between him and Earl, “family. She will betreated with respect. Either work this shit out with her or figure out a way to be adults about it. This type of petty shit has no place in our club. We’ve already lived through it once.” I know he’s talking about Ash, without him even having to say her name.
“Got it.” The three of us say in unison.
