Chase frowns. “Why are you asking? Areyouhaving doubts?”
My eyes widen. “No! No, I—” I shake my head quickly. “I just don’t want to mess anything up between you two. I love that you’re together, and I don’t want to cause any problems.”
Blake sighs, running a hand through my hair. “Ginny, there arenoproblems.”
I look at Chase for confirmation.
He nods. “None.”
Relief washes over me. I didn’t realize how much I needed to hear it until now.
“Our issues are ours, Ginny. Not yours. I made a mistake, one I’ll live with for the rest of my life. But Chase found it in himself to forgive me. To let me work to earn his trust. It’s one of the reasons that I wanted our dates, our reconnection, to always be the three of us together.”
“I—” Chase places a finger over my lips and shakes his head.
“It’s also not just because of what Blake did. I had insecurities even in the beginning. Blake and my relationship was new when we met you and I feared that he wouldn’t want me when he could have you. It’s why we were always together with you. And now, well, it’s not so much an issue of being with you alone but rebuilding trust. Not just with me and Blake, but us with you.” Chase’s voice cracks as he speaks and I know this is hard for him, being so open about everything. “We want you. And we’ve talked about us in detail.”
“I wanted to make sure he was okay with there being an us. Because as much as I love you, Chase, I love Ginny…” My eyes go wide at Blake’s words. “And we do. I’ve been in love with Chase for as long as I can remember and I was willing to put my love for you to the side if Chase couldn’t handle the three of us together. I hope my honesty doesn’t make you hate me.”
I can’t speak. They love me. They both sit, waiting for me to answer, and all I can do is shake my head.
“I love the two of you, too,” I finally whisper. “I love the two of you so much I’d give up any chance of us being together as long as the two of you were.” I can feel the tears welling in my eyes.
“Then I guess it’s a good thing we don’t have to give up then.” Blake’s voice brings a smile to my face.
Chase shifts, leaning forward across Blake’s legs and cups my face, brushing his thumb along my cheek. “Come here,” he murmurs, his lips a breath away from mine.
I don’t hold back.
The kiss is slow, deep, sending warmth through every inch of me. Blake’s hand slides along my thigh, squeezing lightly, grounding me between them.
When I pull back from Chase, Blake’s mouth is already on mine, claiming me in a way that makes my entire body burn. It’s hot and demanding yet carries an underlying tenderness that always makes my head spin. His hand moves up my thigh, fingers skimming the soft skin just beneath the hem of my sweater, teasing but not taking it further. A shudder rolls through me at the touch, my body instinctively arching toward him.
Chase stands and moves to sit behind me, pressing his chest against my back, his arms wrapping around my waist. His lips trail along my jaw, to my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
It’s not rushed.
It’s not frantic.
It’sthem. It’sus.
Chase presses closer from behind me, his strong arms tightening around my waist as his lips brush the sensitive spot just below my ear. The featherlight touch sends a cascade of shivers down my body, and my breath hitches when his mouth moves lower, pressing soft, open-mouthed kisses along the curve of my neck.
“God, you smell good,” Chase murmurs, his voice husky against my skin.
Blake pulls back just enough to smirk at me, his dark eyes gleaming with amusement. “Youdo,” he agrees, brushing his thumb over my lower lip. “Like vanilla and somethingdangerous.”
I let out a breathless laugh, though any attempt at playing it cool dies when Blake leans in again, this time trailing kisses along my jaw, down the column of my throat, mirroring Chase’s actions on the other side. Their lips—warm, teasing, so perfectlyin sync—create a dizzying sensation that makes my pulse hammer wildly.
I’mcaughtbetween them, surrounded, every nerve ending tingling under their touch.
Blake’s lips leave my skin and he kisses Chase, pressing him closer to my body. I’m stuck in the middle of them, soaking up the heat radiating off their bodies.
Chase’s hands slide beneath the hem of my sweater, his palms warm against the bare skin of my stomach. His touch is slow, deliberate, fingertips tracing lazy circles just above my navel before drifting higher. My breath stutters when he reaches the underside of my ribs, stopping just short of anything more.
“Tease,” I whisper, tilting my head back slightly as they break apart, giving him better access as Blake takes the opening and trails more kisses along my neck.
He chuckles, the deep sound vibrating against my skin. “Patience, Baby Doll.”
