“Fuck, Zach,” Drew said in a breathy voice.

Zach nipped at Drew’s cheek, then went back to laving his tongue over his hole. He worked his finger in and out, then switched his pointer finger for his middle one. Taking advantage of the extra length, he crooked his finger, rubbing the pad along Drew’s inner walls. Drew’s entire bodybucked as Zach found the right spot, and he began to massage over it whilst continuing to lick and suck him.

Drew’s legs started to tremble where they were bracketed on either side of Zach’s arms, and he was pushing himself back against his finger, silently begging for more. Zach slid both fingers in, stretching him open, and Drew whined. A dribble of precum leaked down Zach’s dick, and he found his own hips arching upward, seeking friction.

“I’m good,” Drew panted, pulling away from Zach’s face. “Need you.”

Zach leaned up, chasing after Drew’s ass so he could press one last gentle kiss to his hole. While Drew lifted his leg and spun around to face him, Zach squeezed more lube into his palm and coated his cock with it, before wiping off the excess with a tissue. Then he held his cock steady as Drew positioned himself over it and slowly sank down.

They both groaned in relief as Drew took him all the way in, his pelvis sitting flush against Zach’s. Drew rocked back and forth a few times, getting adjusted to the fullness of Zach’s cock, and Zach grabbed his hips and helped guide him. Soon, Drew began to move up and down, lifting himself almost entirely off Zack’s dick before dropping back down. It was too much and not enough at the same time, and Zach just wanted to climb inside Drew and live there forever.

Drew’s warm brown eyes gazed down at Zach, and they were so full of love and adoration that for a moment he didn’t feel worthy of such a gift. Then Drew smiled, and he looked so happy and content. Zach was overjoyed he’d been able to make Drew feel that way. “I love you so much,” he said, pouring his entire heart into the declaration.

“I love you too,” Drew said back, and then he leaned down to kiss Zach, and it was everything.

Zach wrapped his arms around Drew, holding him tightly, and swore to never let him go. Drew held Zach’s heart in his hands, and he always would. No one else would ever have it.

Zach was home.

Chapter 30

All’s well that ends well

Drew drifted, not quite napping, but so well fucked that he wasn’t quite with it. He was curled up in Zach’s arms, and everything felt right with the world. Almost.

His eyes shot open, and he pushed himself up into a sitting position.

“What’s wrong?” Zach asked, on instant alert.

“Shit, why did I let you distract me with sex? I should have done this as soon as everyone left!” he said, and scrambled out of bed.

“Drew?” Zach said, voice tight with worry.

“Stay there,” Drew told him. “Just give me a second!” He hurried into the bathroom and dug the ring out of his jeans pocket. He gave it a quick once over, checking that it was still pristine and didn’t need any repairs, but it was fine. Quickly rubbing it on the towel to get rid of any dust, Drew then hurried back through to the bedroom. He climbed back into bed and into Zach’s waiting arms, but not before pressing a quick kiss to his lips.

“Do I get an explanation now?” Zach asked dryly.

Drew propped himself up on his elbows so he could see Zach, resting his chin on his boyfriend’s chest. The ring was clasped in his fist, at the ready. “Yes, sorry. So, I had a whole plan for this. A nice dinner, yummy dessert, the whole works. But, well, you know how that turned out.”

“Drew,” Zach said gently. “It might not have been the anniversary you’d hoped for, but you do know it doesn’t matter, yeah? We’re gonna have a heap more that will go perfectly to plan.”

“I know,” Drew said. “This isn’t about our anniversary. Not entirely.”

“Oh?”

“I love you so much it scares me,” Drew told him. “I never thought I would have a love like this in my life, and then you turned up. You didn’t bring me my chicken noodle soup, but you brought me laughter and adoration and a whole lot of love. You introduced me to the world of magic, and it’s so amazing. I can’t believe it’s real some days. I would never have discovered it if it weren’t for you.”

Zach went to speak, probably to dispute this and to say that Drew would have discovered his magic sooner or later, but Drew placed a finger against his lips, silencing him.

“You’ve given me everything, Zach. More than I can ever give you in return. All I can offer you is the entirety of my heart.”

“That’s all I need,” Zach murmured against his finger.

“I know it’s a silly human custom, but I’m going to ask anyway.” Drew held up the ring and offered it to him. “Zach, would you do me the honour of becoming my husband?”

Zach’s eyes went wide. “You’re proposing? For real?”

“Yes, I’m proposing,” Drew said with a laugh.
