“Truth.”

“Name one promise you’d never break,” Kaydon said, heart galloping.

Bryson hesitated, looking at each of them. “I will never walk away from any of you. No matter how hard things get.”

The three of them scooted closer to Adria—Kaydon pulled her into his lap, and Seth pressed a knee to her thigh, and Bryson took her hand.

“We will never leave your side, Adria,” Kaydon said. “All three of us vow to be your support system, not your cage.”

Adria’s eyebrows pinched together. “What is happening right now?”

“Adria—truth or share?” Bryson asked.

Kaydon leaned in and whispered, “Say truth.”

Her body trembled against his and the room fell into a breath of silence.

“Truth,” she whispered.

Bryson said, taking her hand, “If we asked you to bind yourself to us, to make this permanent…would you?”

Adria froze. “What are you saying?”

“Marry us, Dri,” Kaydon said, voice thick. “Let us be the happiest men in the world.”

“Let us put a ring on this hand,” Seth added, tracing her fingers.

“You three are fucking idiots,” she said.

Kaydon laughed, his chest rumbling behind her. “We are your idiots.”

He could feel her smiling when she said, “Clearly.”

“Is that a yes?” Seth asked, excitement cracking his voice.

Adria sighed, leaning back against Kaydon. “I have no idea how it’s going to work—but yes.”

CHAPTER 75

NORTH CAROLINA-2 MONTHS LATER

Adria swept a long, precise line of eyeliner across her lid as Bryson’s voice echoed from the bedroom. “Kay, have you seen my black shirt?”

“No idea!” Kaydon’s shout followed. Adria sighed—why did they always wait until the last second?

She stole a peek into the room. Seth was impeccably dressed, casually twirling his knife. In the walk-in closet, hangers rattled as Kaydon and Bryson rifled through clothes.

“Seth, have you seen it?” Bryson asked.

“Find your own shit, I know where mine is,” Seth said, tossing his knife into the air and catching it.

Adria froze.

The rustling in the closet stopped, and it wasn’t long before Bryson stood in the room. Arms crossed as he leaned against the door frame.

Adria watched the blood drain from Seth’s face.

“Seth Bryan Moore. Do you wanna try that again?” Bryson said.
