She nods, offers me another smile, and then walks out of my office. The white lace doesnothingto cover her ass, and she has perfect dimples above each cheek.

I can’t wait to nibble on them.

Fuck. For the first time inyears, I don’t want to go to work.

“Why are you here?”Mateo asks with a scowl. He’s just arrived at the same time as me. “It’s your fucking wedding day.”

“We have work to do,” I reply, walking next to him into the King of Spades, Carson’s casino that just happens to be next door to Rapture. “Even on wedding days.”

“Pretty sure you could have stayed home for this.”

I shake my head. “It’s not like I’m on a fucking honeymoon. This isn’t exactly a love match, you know.”

Definitely not a love match, but damn if I don’t fucking like her.

Mateo lifts a brow. “She’s fucking hot, man. If it’s not a love match, you won’t mind if?—”

“I’ll cut your liver out and feed it to you,” I reply before he can finish the thought, and the asshole smirks at me.

“That’s what I thought. You keep telling yourself that it’s not a real marriage.” He claps me on the shoulder as we walk into Carson’s office, and we both stop short.

Because sitting across the desk from our brother is Sergei.

As in, my new father-in-law.

Rome’s leaning against the window, his arms crossed over his chest, and he lifts his chin at me.

I’m not going to like this.

“You left my daughter alone already?” he asks but doesn’t look angry. No, this motherfucker looks like the cat that ate the proverbial canary. “We taught her to be a better wife than that. She should still be on her knees?—”

“Finish that sentence,” I say as I pull my gun from the small of my back. “I fucking dare you.”

Sergei laughs and waves me off.

“I’m not here to start a fight. Quite the contrary.”

Moving into the room, I close the door behind us, and Mateo stands behind Carson. I join Rome at the window.

None of us wants to sit.

Fuck that.

“What do you want, Sergei?” This comes from Carson, who’s glaring at the older man.

“Well, it’s not so much about what I want as it is what I’m entitled to. You see, you threw me for a loop today when you decided to cast off your son and marry my daughter yourself.”

I knew this was going to come back to bite me in the fucking ass.

“You should have said something before the ceremony if you object. Not that it would have changed the outcome.”

The asshole shakes his head. “On the contrary. I don’t object at all, because now that my daughter has married one of the Kings of Vegas, I’m in the perfect position.”

The four of us don’t reply, just continue staring at him, and then Carson starts to laugh.

“Fuck you,” Carson growls. “You don’t marry into this organization like you do a family.”

“Either you accept me as an equal, or I take all four of you down.”
