My gaze jerks up to his, but he’s just saying to release him so he can shower. When I loosen my hold on his waist, he lowers me to the ground. His cock is hard between us again.

I wet my lips and Dante chuckles.

“My eyes are up here, pipsqueak.”

I lift my chin. He smiles down on me softly as he hands me the soap.

“No more play time. Get clean. We have a lot of work ahead of us.”

After washing ourselves and drying off, Dante goes to my bedroom and grabs a pair of pajamas for me while I braid my wet hair. After we’re both dressed, we walk down the hall and stand in the doorway to my room.

“Should we call the police?” I mean, we could’ve done it before the shower. Just looking at the mess they left overwhelms me. Everything that wasn’t nailed down, they spilled all over my floor. I don’t even know where to begin putting my life to rights.

“They entered with the alarm activated. Someone with that skill wouldn’t leave behind prints.” Dante picks up a picture frame. “We have no idea what Tom was into and what may trigger them to escalate. They didn’t bother hiding they were here.”

His gaze falls to the picture. It’s of us one summer when we were kids. Tom, Dante, Finn, and Wyatt all have their arms around each other’s shoulders, and I have my arms wrapped around Wyatt’s waist and a huge grin on my face for the camera.

I should feel guilty about what I’m doing with Dante, but something about being with these men feels right. Finn and Dante, they’re a part of my life. Drew is like a bonus I never expected to find. I don’t want to stop with any of them.

“But if we call the police, they’ll know to keep an eye out on my street.” Even I know that a breaking and entering in the middle of the day may get an occasional patrol car drive-by, but it won’t necessarily stop whoever did this. Not if an alarm system didn’t.

“And they’ll probably call the owners. We aren’t filing an insurance claim.” Dante picks up a diamond earring off the floor and shakes his head. “They weren’t here for money. Let’s focus on cleanup, pip. How do you want to tackle this?”

“I don’t.” I have to be honest. “Right now, it seems like too much. I don’t want to tackle it at all.”

Dante threads his fingers through mine and draws me back into the hallway, shutting the door behind us. “Then we won’t.”

Relief floods me. I should go through it, but I’m glad he’s here. I’m not alone.

He leads me downstairs and into the kitchen. When he grabs my waist, I squeal as he lifts me onto the counter. Releasing me, he chuckles and opens the fridge.

“Drink?” He glances my way and heat fills me. With what happened in the shower, I need to be honest about something, but I’m not sure how he’s going to take it.

“I think there’s a bottle of white in there.” I bite my lip. If I want this to go further, I need to come clean.

He grabs the bottle and holds it up. “Just the thing to go with pizza.”

“I don’t know if I ordered enough for both of us.” I shrug. “Thought it would be just me, but I went with a medium because it was a long day.”

“I’m sure I can find other things to eat.” His smirk makes my panties melt, leaving my imagination to run wild with what his lips would feel like on my pussy. He sets the wine bottle on the counter and grabs the corkscrew. “What do we need to do to make you comfortable at our apartment?”

That’s a difficult question because it’s not me I’m worried about. It’s him. I don’t know that I’ll be able to keep up the lie that I no longer want Wyatt. Sure, I’m moving on, but deep down, there’s a part of me that will always belong to him.

But there are a few logistics to discuss if I’m staying in Tom’s room.

“I’ll need to wash Tom’s sheets and bleach every surface.” I shake my head because I know my brother is sexually active and I can only imagine the stains on his bed.

“Already done. With new sheets.” Dante pulls the cork, flexing his bicep in the process. Fuck, he’s all man. Every inch of him is lickable. And there’s so much of him.

When I swallow, he glances at me with a smirk. “I had it cleaned after he left, but we have a service that comes twice a week.”

I reach into the cabinet beside me to pull out two wineglasses and set them on the counter.

The smile that curves his lips tantalizes me. It’s small and secretive like we share something now. We do, but he doesn’t know that.

“I might have Drew over.” I test the waters as he pours the wine.

“I wouldn’t expect you to put your life on hold for this, pip.” He holds out a glass to me and my fingers graze his, sending electric shocks through my system.
