I grin and wink back.

“Not tonight.” Dante stretches next to the bed. Fuck, he’s one hundred percent gorgeous. I’m lying on a bed with the four guys who star in my dreams nightly surrounding me. How can I make this happen?

I’d have to be bold and just start stripping. Maybe put on a show of my own.

“Come on, pipsqueak. We should head home. You’ve got work in the morning.” Dante reaches his hand down to me.

I blow out a breath and take it, letting him help me up from the bed.

Drew steps over to me and pulls me into a hug. “I’ll text you later.”

“Thanks.” I’m still a little groggy and definitely still drunk.

He cups my cheek and kisses me softly. He whispers, “Behave, princess.”

His brown eyes search mine and he gives me another kiss.

I sigh as he pulls away. I could just pull him down to the bed and find out what happens. It’s tempting, but also probably the wrong move right now.

“What happened to Maya?” I almost forgot. “She knows Tom.”

“We know, flower.” Finn wraps his arm around my shoulders and leads me to the door. “She was a little helpful, but not really.”

I turn to look at Wyatt. His face is as blank as ever, but there’s heat in his eyes as he looks at me. If it weren’t so hopeless, I’d totally make a play for him. But he doesn’t want me. Not like the others do.

Finn leads me through the club. It’s a little darker and grittier now. I don’t know what time it is, but it must be late. How long did I sleep?

He opens the door for me and we step out onto the sidewalk. A black car waits for us. Wyatt slips into the front seat while Dante and Finn sit on either side of me in the back.

Hello, awkward. I lace my fingers together in my lap. Neither of them has brought up this weekend. I don’t think they’ve even told each other what happened. I’m definitely not up to confronting what happened in Tom’s office. That tension that lingers. The longing that sparked. I’d love to be caught in a Dante-Finn sandwich any day.

When I shiver, Dante shrugs out of his jacket and drapes it over my shoulders, surrounding me in the fresh ocean scent that clings to him like I wouldn’t mind doing. Though apparently in my sleep I have the balls to grab onto him and not let go.

“I’m coming in with you, pip,” Dante says quietly.

The others don’t know my parents are out. It’s probably late enough that they’ll assume my folks and Caitlyn are asleep. This one is nonnegotiable so I don’t fight it. I just nod.

I’m still tipsy and sleepy, so having him with me will make it easier to fall into bed quickly. Yes, I’d love to pull him into bed with me, but that can’t happen. Not tonight. Maybe never.

I sigh and rest my head on Dante’s shoulder.

“Sad thoughts, flower?”

I turn to Finn. “Just thinking of what will never be.”

“Never say never.” He strokes his finger along my jawline, sending a fever rush through my blood.

“Some things will never be.” I glance into the front and see Wyatt’s eyes in the mirror watching me closely. I drop my gaze to my lap. No matter how much I wish things were different.

That doesn’t mean I don’t want the others and what they’re offering.

When the car stops at the townhouse, Dante gets out and holds his hand down to help me. Once I’m on the sidewalk with him, he wraps his arm around my waist. His warmth covers me even through his coat as we hurry up the stairs. Quickly, I let us in and turn off the alarm.
