It looks stylish and relaxed, but with enough sass to suit my personality.

Checking the bus timetable again, I quickly have breakfast and clean up, then head out of the house. It’s a short walk to the bus stop, and fortunately I only have to wait twelve minutes until it arrives.

Sitting in the backseat, I enjoy taking in the views of Hollywood again. The truth is, when I’m in the car with Liam, my attention is on him.

On his muscular thighs.

His roped forearms.

His dark hair, which I love running my fingers through. The way his sunglasses make him look a thousand times hotter. If that’s even possible. The scent of his aftershave, which is intoxicating, and I’m sure called something likePanty-Dropping-Juice.

I jump off at my stop and spend about forty minutes walking around West Hollywood, taking in the sights and wandering into a few stores.

Then, at midday, I walk intoCatch LAand give Savannah’s name.

“This way, please,” the maître d’ says.

Wow, the rooftop restaurant is amazing. In the minute or so it takes to walk to her table, I spot three of the hottest stars on the planet.

Holy heck.

“Jessie,” Savannah coos and reaches out a hand.“Sit, sit.I am a week from my C-section, and it feels like I’m too full of baby to stand.”

“Stay there.”Giggling, I lean down and kiss her cheek, then slide into a chair.

“I hope you love seafood.”

“I love it.Thank you for doing this, and um, I’m sorry about Ryder’s birthday.”

I figure it's better to just get the obvious out of the way.Everyone saw Liam pushing Noah around.

Sipping her water, Savannah laughs.“Oh, trust me, I’m used to it with those guys.If one of them isn’t losing their minds over a woman, then it’s not Friday night.”

I blink and bite the inside of my mouth.

I can’t say anything.

She studies me, tilting her head as she grins.“Scarlett isn’t the only one who sees everything, you know.”

Nope, not saying anything.

I sip my water.

“You can trust me.”Savannah watches me.

Whether it’s because she’s about to be a mother or I need someone to talk to, I don’t know, but the words pour out of my mouth.

Like a rainstorm.

“I’ve been in love with Liam forever. He doesn’t feel the same way. We’re not even really sleeping together.I mean we are, but not...you know...completely...sex...obviously...and if Jayden found out I don’t know what would happen. We only have a few days left...and I know Liam doesn’t want me to stay but the way he holds my hand and looks at me...”I take a breath and see the small smile on her lips.“Well, sometimes I think he wants that, too, but he doesn’t say anything, and so I have no clue. It’s terrible. And wonderful.”

Christ.

I’ve said too much. She’s going to tell her husband; then Ryder will tell Liam.

Oh god.

“First,” she says calmly.“That man is in love with you.Liam is one of the most level-headed of all of them. When he saw Noah kiss you, he almost exploded.I watched him storm up the beach.”
