CHAPTER FIVE

JESSIE

––––––––

Iguess I asked forit. To make up for myno-panty-naughtinessI decide to make amends with Liam.

That’s a lie.

I’m not done showing him how ridiculous he is.

Taking the tie from my dressing gown, I use it to tie around the duvet and turn it into the thickest dress known to man. Then I then head to the kitchen for breakfast.

I pour a cup of coffee, then sit myself in a chair at the table, just in time for Liam’s appearance.

“Good morning,” I smile, my face only just visible above the bunched-up feather and down duvet.

Liam stops dead in his tracks and stares.I can see he doesn’t know what to say and is trying to decide how to proceed.

“Beautiful morning.”I sip the coffee and almost pour it down the front of me.

This plan was terrible.

Still, if this man thinks he can continue pretending he doesn’t desire me, then I’m going to make his life hell.

Two weeks.

I’ll break him.

I know I will.

“Jessie.”Liam rubs his temple as if I’m the bane of his existence.

I might be.

“Yes, Liam?”I smile like butter wouldn’t melt.
