“Adam has looked around the perimeter, and from what he can tell, there are two more guards inside the main dining room where they are discussing things.” I can’t talk to Hana because the wannabe hit man is staring at me like I might disappear if he looks away for even one millisecond.

“M, you need to take this motherfucker out and give him no mercy. The things they are doing are fucked up. You’ll see.” Hana is rarely grossed or weirded out, so this is a rare occurrence, her being mad at what’s going on in that dining room.

Don’t let it be too bad, as I want to avoid a bloodbath,I tell myself.

I carry the last box inside, and once I’m in, the guard closes the main door.

“I have put the other boxes away in the kitchen. Carry this one yourself, and I’ll check it there.” I nod at him. I follow him to the kitchen, and as I’m walking, I check my surroundings. In one corner of the main hall, I spot a camera.

“Don’t worry, I hacked into their security system.” Hana isthatgirl. Usually, I wouldn’t have her on a big job like thisbecause she still isn’t working full-time for me yet, but I needed the best of the best for this one.

I nod at the camera and grin.

Once the guard and I walk into the kitchen, I can hear Adam talking to me.

“Hana connected me to your earpiece.” The best of the best. “The other two guards are in the dining room; no other guards are spotted. Once you take out the one on your ass, proceed to the killing area where I’ll snipe out the other two.”

I take off my jacket and place it over a chair.

“Nice and easy, I can see everything now.” That means Hana is now looking through the camera on my apron.

I’m unloading boxes of food, and I made this food extra delicious for a reason. I need the wannabe guard to take the bait to look at the food, while his back is to me.

I move to the other side of the kitchen, where I’m close to my killer box.

“You made this food yourself?” the guard asks as he takes the strap of his assault rifle and slings it over his shoulder.

“Yes, sir. The recipes are passed down from generation to generation.”

“Impressive.” I look over my shoulder and see that the plan is working. His back is turned to me. I unbox my special box, take out my gun with a silencer, and turn to him.

“So, what are you going to serve first?” he asks as he is turning around.

“Death.” Before he can grab onto his rifle, I shoot right between his eyes. He promptly falls onto the ground, and I take tentative steps toward the room full of assholes, but first, I pick up two throwing knives from the box and tuck them in my apron.

While I’m walking, I check my surroundings. I don’t spot any cameras, which is pretty stupid for a politician.

“One guard is standing a few feet behind Edo, while the other one is observing the room from the big window on your right side,” Adam says through my earpiece.

“Take the one behind Edo out. Once I saydinner is about to be served, you shoot him.”

“Understood. Over.”

Every step forward heightens the laughter emanating from the dining room. I stand behind the door and listen to what they are saying.

“We are going to fuck them over.”

“Fuck the Minister of Foreign Affairs. I’ll have his balls in a blender.”

“Sweetheart, stroke my hair.” What the actual fuck? This shit can’t be good.

“By the end of the month, no one will doubt me ever again.” That’s Edo’s voice—the voice of a man who is corrupt down to his bones.

Show-fucking-time.

I open the door and take in the brutal scene. In the dining room with red walls and one table in the middle with the three cunts around it, there are scared-looking women standing beside them. They are wearing almost nothing, and I can feel their fear all the way over here.

My eyes take a quick scan of the guards, and, as Adam said, they are in their respective places.
