“I do. It has been so nice meeting all the people who have enriched M’s life.” She is so fucking adorable.

“I think we should be thanking you. We haven’t seen him this happy in a while.” This is one of those rare moments where Oliver is sweet and shows that he is a down-to-earth guy.

“True. But, I think it’s time for us to go right now,” Adam says as he stands up. “So these two lovebirds can relax. Do you want our help to clean up?” Adam asks Lana and me. It's common in Bosnia for everyone to help clean up after a get-together.

“That won’t be necessary. We’ll walk you out.” Lana and I stand up and walk the guests to their cars. Adam, Sara, Oliver, and Josh leave, but Hana stays behind for just one more minute.

“M, I’m leaving in two days. If you need anything while I’m there—” I cut Hana off and hug my cousin, as does Lana.

“We’ll manage, and you need to rest. You have done way too much anyway,” I tell her. As she gets into the car, she addresses Lana.

“Keep him in check, Lana. We’ll see each other in three weeks.”

We wave her off, and once we are back inside, we start cleaning up the place. After the cleanup, we head into our bedroom, and while I’m brushing my teeth, Lana asks me a question.

“Do you have anything planned for Tuesday?” I shake my head.

“Good. I’m meeting Emin before he leaves for Tuzla.” I finish brushing my teeth, and I lean against the bathroom counter.

“So he is really moving away?” I ask her.

“Yes, and it’s for the better.”

“Why?”

“I don’t want my father to go after him. He has been good to me in the diner all these years.” She is right. Emin has rescued her from uncomfortable situations many times, and I respect him for that. While observing him and Lana, and him alone, I have never thought that he is into her. Their dynamic is almost like Sara's and mine, good friends.

“I know. Where are you meeting him?”

“I’m meeting him at the diner, and after that we are off to grab a quick bite.” I grunt.

“What? Don’t you want me to meet him?”

“No, it’s not that. I don’t like you going back to the diner.” Lana puts her arms around my neck and gazes deep into my eyes.

“You can put the tracker back into me if you want to. You know, for your own peace of mind.” I raise an eyebrow, and I see the tiniest glint of desperation in her eyes. I put my hands on her hips and pull her toward me so she is plastered against my front.

“While the idea is tempting, I still love the chase. Besides, if something goes haywire, I can have somebody at your location in five minutes.”

“You crazy man.” She gets on the tips of her toes and kisses me. Our kiss becomes deeper, and my dick is hard. Lana looks at me with scrunched eyebrows.

“What?” I ask her. “I’m perpetually hard when I’m with you. Besides, you kept that information about the burned-down house to yourself.”

“I did.” Her obedient voice locks in because she knows what is coming. Punishment. Her craving for reprimand only fuels my desire to make her soul black as mine.

“Go lie on the bed with your stomach down on the mattress. And undress yourself beforehand.”

“I will, my god.” When she turns around, I slap her ass for good measure. I look in the mirror and smile because I can’t believe my luck. I have finally found someone who is as deranged in bed as I am. I step out of my clothes so I’m fully naked and walk into the bedroom.

Every time I see her in a delightful pose like this one, she becomes even hotter.

“You are like a mirage, little hummingbird.” Being honest with her in moments like these is really fucking easy. My love for her comes straight from my heart, and she is holding that one firmly in her hand.

I go to my dresser and pick out a little toy I bought for us on the day I purchased the board. I take the toy and place myself on the bed. I tap her ass.

“Ass up high, little hummingbird.” She obeys like the bad little pet she is. I rattle the toy and her head gears toward the sound.

“What’s that?” she asks me with equal parts fear and anticipation.
