CHAPTER 12

Before thecyclecould begin again, the two men showered and dressed. Cole felt Gabe watching him as he pulled on his jeans.

“Damn, you do justice to those jeans,” Gabe groaned as he tugged his own jeans up his muscular thighs and over his firmly rounded ass.

Cole raised an eyebrow. “You, too.”

Gabe grinned and wiggled his eyebrows as he fastened his pants. Both of their shirts were discarded somewhere on the dance floor, leaving them naked above the waist.

“Wait here,” Gabe said, and unlocked the shower room door. He left, then returned moments later with two white T-shirts bearing the club emblem. “Club shirts.” He handed one to Cole, then paused, dragging a fingertip along the tendon of Cole’s neck. Cole shivered as an electriczingshot straight to his crotch. “Forgot to tell you I was a vampire,” he murmured, stroking his neck cord.

Cole looked in the mirror. The noticeable, discolored bruise contrasted sharply against his flushed, freshly scrubbed skin… with a few distinctiveteethmarks.

Gabe pressed against him from behind, nibbling the back of his neck. “I vant to suck your…” He grinned darkly at Cole’s reflection and winked. “Oh Vait, I alveady did.”

Shaking his head, Cole chuckled and slipped the T-shirt on, tugging it down his body.

Gabe stepped back and nodded his approval. “You look right at home in our club shirt. So…” He sidled closer again, squeezing Cole’s waist, his lips brushing Cole’s mouth. “You gonna join our happy little Phoenix family?”

Sighing, Cole trailed his fingertips lightly over Gabe’s biceps, then across his bare chest. “Can I tell you later?” He swallowed.“I think my brain needs to rest and reboot before I make any major decisions.”

“Are you implying I scrambled your brains?” Gabe grinned as he kissed him.

Cole exhaled, laughing softly. “You scrambled… something.” He playfully pushed Gabe away from him. “Now, back off before you scramble it again.”

Gabe laughed and retreated a few steps. “I have to get to work anyway.” He squinted impishly at Cole. “My customers are going to beveryhappy thanks to you.” He winked. “You got me all revved up and rearing to go.”

“Somehow, I get the feeling you’realwaysrevved and rearing to go.”

A hearty laugh escaped Gabe. “True. But you got meextracharged.”

You got me extra charged, too,Cole thought. The cool showerafterwardhad failed to quell the heat in his body, and the longer he stood here with Gabe, the hotter the fever burned. No one had ever affected him with such sexual intensity before, and he wasn’t sure how to handle it.

You seemed to know how to handle it back in the shower.

Maybe. But if he maintained that level of intensity for a prolonged period, his heart might explode. And being near Gabe, the intensity seemedincapableof dialing down.

“Well…” Cole smiled and shrugged. “Your customers can send me a thank-you note.”

“Fuck.” Gabe laughed and leaned in quickly, kissing Cole on the mouth. “You’re funny, baby.”

Cole licked his lips, then pressed them together in a small smile. “If you say so.”

“I do,” Gabe chuckled, slipping into his T-shirt.

They left the shower room and paused at the entryway back into the main club. An adjacent hallway led back to the dressing rooms, Cole assumed.

“So…” Gabe cleared his throat, grinning. “How muchrecoverytime do you need to… reboot?”

Cole shivered. “I, um… I’m not sure.” Honestly? Hisbodywas ready for another go-roundright now.But he didn’t tell Gabe.

“A few hours?” Gabe smiled. “A couple of days?”

Cole ducked his head, laughing. “Do you ever turn off?”

“Not with the proper inspiration standing in front of me, keeping me turnedon.”

Raising his eyes, Cole smirked. “Are you sure you’re not just a nympho?”
