“What’s up?” Callum asks.

“I want to make this official,” I say.

Callum grins. “Took you long enough.”

“Shut up.”

“I’m serious. I’ve been waiting for you to pull your head out of your ass.”

“Cal,” Tiger warns.

Zephyr’s watching me carefully. “You’re sure about this? No more ultimatums?”

“Yeah.”

“What about the team?” Zephyr asks. “People are going to talk.”

“Let them talk.”

“What about your mom?”

“It doesn’t matter.”

Tiger looks at me. “You don’t mean that.”

“I do.”

Callum leans forward. “So what exactly are we saying here? That we’re all together? That we’re doing this for real?”

I try not to let that get to my head. If I do, I’ll back out. I’ll choose what sounds good rather than what feels good. And her in my lap openly feels good. “Yeah. That’s what I’m saying.”

“And Tiger?” he asks Tiger. “All of us? Are you sure?”

She nods. “I’m sure. Every time I think about it, I cry.”

We’re silent, looking at each other.

“So we’re doing this,” Callum says, standing up. He walks over. “For real.”

“For real,” I confirm.

Tiger looks at all three of us and smiles.

I pull her closer and kiss her again. Harder this time.

She responds immediately. Her hands in my hair. Her body pressing against mine.

I hear Callum move closer, feel his presence behind her.

Then his hand is on her waist, pulling her attention.

She turns and kisses him. And I’m watching them kiss and waiting for the jealousy to hit.

It doesn’t this time.

Instead, heat fills me. I lean forward and kiss her shoulder. The curve of her neck. Down to her arm where the bandage used to be. Where the scar is now.

She shivers and pulls away from Callum. She looks at me, running her fingers through my hair.
