“I’m not mad about joining the Mile High Club. I’m mad about the fact you made that woman think I shit my pants,” she growls, and I can’t help but laugh.

She swings her hand back, hitting me in the balls. I cup my junk, groaning as I double over. “Fuck, baby. I need this for your next heat,” I groan, knot aching.

Standing up, I breathe through the pain and follow after her. “How much for a limo?” I ask Carson and Reid.

“Haha,” Reid drolls.

“Special price for you.” Carson grins. “One million and I’ll take you as far as down the block.”

“Relax, Dr. Evil.” I roll my eyes. “So, are we just going to hang around here all day, or are you going to show us where you live?”

“Are you sure you had to bring him?” Carson leans in and whispers not so quietly to Addie.

“Yes,” Addie says. “I want all my Alphas to ring in the new year with me. Although, after the stunt he pulled on the plane, I’m starting to think I should have left him at home.”

“What did he do?” Reid asks. I can’t see his eyes, but I can feel the glare he’s giving me.

Addie’s cheeks turn pink. “I don’t want to say.” She pulls out her phone and texts something. A moment later, I get a notification in our group chat. Not the one as us, but our gamer chat.

PastelPrincess: The asshole told the flight attendant that I shit my pants so we could get away with being in the bathroom at the same time.

The guys read it, and Reid’s hand covers his mouth to smother his laughter. But Carson snorts out a laugh. “Dude, that's amazing.” He holds up his hand for a high five, and you know what, I’m feeling nice enough and give him one.

“Thank you. Someone who appreciates my brilliant mind.”

“Just for that.” She points to Carson. “You’re on my shit list, too.”

“Pun intended?" Carson is barely holding back more laughter.

I can’t help it; I burst out laughing and he joins me a second later.

“Come on, Reid,” Addie huffs, holding her head high as she loops her arm in with Reid’s. “Looks like you’re the only one getting lucky tonight.”

“Not bad.” I nod my head, taking in their house with appreciation.

“Thanks,” Carson says. “We had it custom-built.”

“Damn.” My brows raise.

“What do you want to do?” Reid asks Addie, his hand still on her. Her other Alphas haven't been able to stop touching her since we landed. I can’t say I blame them, though, because I’m the same way when we’re at home.

“I know you are probably used to big fancy parties and drinking all night. And that sounds like fun and all... well, not really. Would you be okay if it were just the four of us tonight? I was thinking we could spend the night eating takeout, getting high, and gaming?” She bites her lip, looking a little nervous. “I miss it, you know? Just because we found out who we are to each other, doesn't mean we have to lose what we had.”

I look at the guys, and they look at each other, then to me with a slight nod. “You know what, that sounds perfect. I’ve always wanted to game with everyone in one room.” Reid says.

“Really?” The way her face lights up like we just gave her the damn moon, how the hell do we say no to that?

“Of course. But not on PC. How about Xbox?”

“It’s been a while since I played on Xbox. Let’s do it,” Addie says excitedly.

“That was bullshit!” Addie shouts, throwing her controller on the coffee table. “I totally had that!”

“Babe,” Carson looks like he’s trying to hold back his laughter. “That’s not even you.” He points to the screen. “That's Reid. You’re over here.”

She blinks down at him, and I bite my lip to hold back my amusement. She really is adorable when she’s high. Talks a lot and giggles even more, but her temper is sexy.

“Oh,” she blushes, reaching down to grab her controller. “My bad.”
