Ethan
I looked at my brothers, Carter, Garrick, and Alec, and then I looked at their women.
To say I wasn’t jealous of them all would be a lie.
And I also looked at my baby sister, Talia, then I looked at Dominik.
How the two of them worked, I would never know, but they did.
Then I looked at Everly.
Word through the grapevine is that she is seeing someone from Clover Valley, but seeing as none of us have ever seen him... well... I wasn’t sure about it.
Then I looked at Bronson.
The only other single guy in our ragtag of a group.
Well... from the wink he just sent Lila... I was thinking they were both about to be off the market.
Which left me.
Fucking hell.
But then I looked at my daughter, Melanie.
The one left out of the loop once again.
Lila
I had just blown a raspberry at Everly because Deacon was busy and couldn’t meet with us.
I looked at the rest of the girls who wore similar expressions to my own.
Was he really busy... or did she not want us to meet him?
Everly sighed, “I know what y’all are thinking. But he really is busy. Promise. I’ll set up a time so y’all can meet him. Okay?”
Tatum leaned forward and asked, “Soon? Right?”
Everly nodded.
Just then, I felt a presence at my back.
I looked up at Bronson and Cole.
It was Bronson who asked, “You ready?”
I nodded, then moved to get my wallet, only for him to toss down two twenties, “That covers yours and Madalyn’s food.”
“Bronson.” I snapped.
He winked, “Lila.”
I sighed, then got up and followed them out of Gushers, but not before giving the girls hugs and kisses on their men’s cheeks.
I had just stepped out of the door behind Cole and Madalyn, with Bronson walking behind me, when I took in the excited faces on both Cole and Madalyn.
“So, where are we going?” I asked.
