Everyone nods, and Blitz leads the way to the conference room.Once we all step into the room and close the door, all the sound cuts off in the room, falling silent.Dragon sets the carrier on the table and, unable to help myself, I make my way over to it, peeking at the tiniest baby girl tucked inside.She has porcelain skin and raven-black hair with the tiniest button nose.

“Your handy work was nice to watch,” Terro finally says, breaking the silence.

“It was, wasn’t it?Well before laying waste to those stupid fucks, I took a little peek inside.I wanted to be sure that no innocents got harmed, and to my complete surprise, in a dark room was this little angel.I grabbed her up, tucking her to my chest before laying waste to that place.”Dragon’s angry sneer gives me chills.

“Wait, so she is the baby of someone who was in the club?”Raider asks.

“I believe she was.The only thing I found with her is this,” Dragon pulls a note from his pocket, passing it to me.

My heart shatters while reading her note.Turning to Blitz, I hand him the letter.He reads it, and his eyes snap up to me.A sob racks my body because, in the end, Nova was only doing what she had to do to protect this beautiful little girl.I go to her, pulling her from the carrier, taking in how tiny she really is.I lay her on my chest, and the tears run unchecked.Blitz passes the note to Anvil and Terro, who read it with shocked faces.

Blitz comes to me, running a hand over the top of her head before kissing me on the temple.“What do you want to do?”

I raise my eyes to his.“I want her.To show her the love that she deserves.”

“There are birth records of her being born.It will take time for us to get all of that changed,” Blitz says.

“Not true.If you want her and want to be the parents, all you have to do is sign this.I’ve already taken care of everything.”

Blitz cuts his eyes to his Prez and VP.“Did you two know about this?”

“Dragon reached out, and we spoke about it.We didn’t say anything because we were unsure how it all would go.I just got word that it was all good and cleared.”Anvil shrugs.

“And you knew we would say yes?”I question.

“Charlie, you are too good, too pure, and too loving to say no,” Terro says.

“And what better place to announce that we’ve gotten a new family member than at a fucking party,” Anvil shouts.

Scaring Bella and making her cry.Anvil looks at me wide-eyed, begging for forgiveness.Shushing my little bundle, I bounce her, turning back to Blitz.

“Are you sure you want to do this?”I ask.

He wraps his arms around me and Bella May.“I couldn’t and wouldn’t ask for a better life.I’ve been given more than I ever deserved, and I will make sure that it’s all protected and taken care of until my last breath.”

“I love you, Blitz,” I whisper, tears of joy falling once again.

“I love you both, my Sparrow.”He kisses me as if without me he would never survive.
