While I wait for her in my usual spot, I watch an older man catch up to her, grabbing her arm to get her attention. My whole body stiffens at the contact, but I relax a bit when I recognize her professor. I let out the breath I’ve been holding when he quickly pulls his hand away and takes a step back so there’s enough distance between them to appease me. When I first started watching Savanna, I compiled a list of everyone she has regular contact with, and Dr. Ellison came up immediately. He teaches several classes and he’ll be the one supervising her teaching practicum next year. He’s a nice-looking older man, and I notice the way several students let their eyes linger on him longer than necessary when they pass by. I’d been suspicious of him at first, but he’s been happily married for twenty years and has three kids. I haven’t been able to find anything suspicious about the guy and I’ve done a lot of digging.

Savanna stops on the steps and smiles up at him, nodding at whatever he’s saying to her. She has one hand wrapped around the strap of her bag, lazily hanging onto it while she listens to him. After a couple more minutes, she nods again and then points to where I’m parked. My hand is resting on the top of the steering wheel, so I lift my fingers in a small wave. She must see it, because her smile widens and she gives me a bigger, more exuberant wave. Looking over her shoulder, she says one last thing to her professor before running down the stairs in my direction. I’m out of the car and standing near her door by the time she gets to me. Ignoring everyone else, I cup her face and kiss her, desperate for the taste and feel of her. Her mouth always drives me crazy, but now that I know exactly how it feels to have it wrapped around my dick, it’s all I can fucking think about.

“We need to get your ass in the car,” I say as soon as I manage to pull myself from the hungry kiss. “What I want to do to you can’t have an audience.”

Her smile reveals her dimple as she quickly nods. “Let’s go. I’m already packed. I just need to run in and grab my bags.”

I open the door for her, not caring that we’ve drawn a bit of a crowd. I ignore everyone except the woman I’m completely in love with, and as soon as we’re circling around campus to get back to her sorority, I ask, “Everything okay with Dr. Ellison? He didn’t spring a last-minute paper on you, did he?”

“Thankfully, no,” she says. “He was just letting me know he’d be reading my early draft this weekend and told me to relax and enjoy my break.”

“Very good advice,” I say. “I’ll do my best to make sure this weekend is nothing but pleasure and relaxing. No stress at all, just you and me, naked and sated.”

She grins over at me. “Best boyfriend ever.”

I want to tell her that I can’t wait until it’s husband, but instead, I kiss her hand and then park outside her sorority house. We run inside, grabbing her stuff in record time, and then we’re finally on the way to my apartment, and the moment I’ve been dreaming about is actually about to happen.

Savanna’s quiet on the drive and on the elevator up to my floor. It’s making me more nervous than I already am, and as soon as we’re inside my apartment, I decide I can’t take a second more of it. Setting down the couple of bags she packed, I wrap her up in a big hug. I just want to feel the weight of her body against mine, want to smell the floral, citrusy scent of her. I just want to be surrounded by her.

“Everything okay?” she asks, while wrapping her arms around me and pressing her face into my neck. I love it when she does that. I love feeling the heat of her breath against my skin, love how she always nuzzles in closer like she was born to fit my body, and when I hug her tighter and cup the back of her head, she kisses my neck and slides her hands up my back so she can grab onto my shoulders.

“Everything’s fine,” I tell her. “I just wanted to hold you.” I kiss her head and then slowly start to sway, dancing with her in the entryway. “Do you remember dancing with me at Sasha’s wedding?”

“Of course I do. You looked so sexy in that tux. I used a lot of restraint that night. I hope you appreciate that.”

I keep my face lowered and close to hers. “So did I. You were so beautiful in that dress. I never thought in a million years you’d want me. I was so nervous,” I admit with a laugh. “You’re very intimidating, Van.”

I feel her laugh against my skin before she quickly says, “You’re crazy. You’re the intimidating one. I thought maybe you might be interested, maybe I’d even get one night with you, but then I’d get all depressed because one night would never be enough, and it would’ve broken my heart if you’d decided that’s all you wanted.”

“Never,” I whisper into her hair. “I wanted forever with you since the first time I saw you.”

We dance together for a few more minutes before I say, “You know there’s no pressure, right? If you decide you’d rather wait, I wouldn’t be mad. I just want you here with me.”

She pulls back and looks up at me. “Have you changed your mind? Would you rather wait?”

I nearly laugh at the very idea of changing my mind. “No, Van. I want you more than I’ve ever wanted anything, but I want you to know that you can say no at any time, and I won’t be disappointed. I need you to know that before we do anything. It’s important to me.”

She must see the truth on my face, because she gives me her sweet smile and then cups my face, pulling me down to her. “Thank you for saying that, but I haven’t changed my mind.” She gives me a cute lopsided smile. “I am a little nervous, though.”

I grin back at her. “Me, too. I don’t want to fuck it up.”

“How on earth could you?” she asks, and I resist telling her the millions of fears that are running through my mind, the most aggressive of which are screaming at me that I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing and I’ll probably last all of ten seconds and won’t that be utterly mortifying?

When all I do is sigh, she gets a determined look on her face and says, “Let’s make a deal then, okay? We go into this with no expectations. If it’s phenomenal, wonderful, but if it’s a giant hot mess of awkward thrusting and a super fast climax for one of us,” she says with a wink, “then we both agree to laugh it off and keeptrying.” She pats my chest. “We’re bound to get it right at some point, don’t you think?”

I laugh and shake my head. “You’ve set the bar very low, and I’m not sure if I should be offended or thank you for it.”

She fists my shirt and takes a step backwards, taking me with her. “Thank me,” she says with a grin.

“Thank you,” I say, letting her lead me to the bedroom.

Her dimple is on full display when she says, “That’s not the thank you I had in mind.”

“Oh yeah?”

She pulls me into the room and then lets my hand go. Walking to stand in front of the large bed that’s finally going to be put to good use, she keeps her eyes on mine while she pulls her shirt off and lets it drop to the floor. She’s in a light blue, lace bra this time, and it’s just as wonderfully see-through as the pink one had been. Her nipples are already taut and pressing against the lace, and my mouth waters at the sight of them.

Hypnotized, I watch as she unbuttons and unzips her jeans and then slowly tugs them down her long legs, revealing the matching panties she’s wearing. Her shoes are kicked off, pants and socks taken off, and then she’s standing back up and looking at me.
