A few hours later, Andrea mumbled something and looked at her watch.“Shit, I have to go.”

Jack looked at his own watch. It was getting later.Time for her to go to work.He turned to his side and kissed the back of her shoulder.“I don’t want you to leave.”

“I don’t either, but I have bills to pay.”She moaned and leaned back into his touch.

“When can I see you again?”

Andrea looked at him over her shoulder.“Can’t get enough now?”she teased.

“No, I’m addicted,” he admitted, though the hard on probing her backside should be proof along with the amount sex they’d already had today.

“Same.”She grinned.

“Then stay.”

Andrea shook her head and got out of bed, uncaring of her nudity.“I have to work.”Jack rolled back onto his back and watched her collect her clothes and redress in the dark.

“When can I see you again?”he repeated.

“I have the night shift on the weekends, so I’m not free until Monday.”

“What about during the day?”

“I need to sleep sometime.”

“I’ll help tuck you in.”

Andrea snorted.“No, you won’t.You’d keep me up.”

He couldn’t deny that. The woman was irresistible.“I’d make it worth it.”

“I don’t doubt it.”Sans shirt since it was still in the kitchen, Andrea was dressed and came around the bed to lean over and kiss him.“I’ll call you when I have some free time.”

“Or I can just show up at the bar tonight and see you.”

“That’s a stalker,” she remarked, not looking happy about the prospect of him showing up at her work.

“Not if I’m there for a drink. That’s being a patron.”

“Don’t overcomplicate things, Michael.I’ll talk to you later.”She gave him another kiss and left.

Jack got up and followed her to the door. She shut it behind her and jogged across the street to her own house. He stared out his window at her house for several moments even though he could no longer see her.

He wanted to chase her down and drag her back to bed.He shouldn’t feel so strongly toward her.Jack should be feeling disgusted with himself for lusting after the enemy but couldn’t muster up the emotion.

Jack pulled away from the window when his phone rang.Only one of two people would be calling him and especially at this hour.Nick flashed across the caller ID.Fuck.

“Sir,” he greeted.

“Report.”

“No intel to support the case on her phone, sir.I’ve gone through the surveillance tapes, and there is no activity.”

“Have you gotten on her computer yet?”

“Not yet, sir.”

“Damn it, Jack, stop fucking around. You are turning into a huge disappoint.”
