Mac turned on the shower and let it warm up as she undressed. Her mind drifted to Barry, and she wondered what he was doing out in her living room right now.Was he looking through her stuff, or was he just sitting on the couch waiting for her?
Again, she didn’t know much about him.For all she knew, he was a serial killer who was all nice and smooth in the beginning and would strike when she least expected it.Now she was going into a shower where she would be vulnerable.
Mac shook her head at herself as she stepped under the spray. She had a wayward imagination. There was nothing serial killer about Barry.
Mac closed her eyes and dunked her head under the water. It felt stiff from the sea water and full of knots. She hated that feeling.
Mac felt a stirring of the hair on the back of her neck as if someone were watching her.She was about to pull back from the spray when a warm chest pressed against her back.
Mac jolted in surprise and gave a squeak of alarm.“Shh…it’s just me,” Barry said in a gentle voice, his arms gliding up and down her arms in a reassuring motion.
“I know,” she replied defensively.
“Then why are you screaming?”
“It wasn’t a scream but a squeak.”
“Is there a difference?”he asked playfully.
“There is,” she answered confidently.“Now what are you doing in my shower?”
“I didn’t want to keep waiting for you.”His hand drifted forward from her arm to cup her breast.
“I haven’t been gone but five minutes.”
“That’s too long,” Barry mumbled, snuggling up closer to her back. She felt the hard press of his cock between her butt cheeks.
“We’ve been apart all day,” she continued to argue, though she didn’t know what the point was.It wasn’t like she was going to send him away.
“Again, too long.”
“I still need to shower.”Mac’s protest was weak as Barry trailed hot kisses along her shoulder and up her neck. Her head fell to the side as his kisses rose to her ear.
“Allow me to help,” he whispered softly.
“Okay.”She was done fighting. She didn’t know why she had even started other than when she was scared, she became defensive.
“Where to start.”
“My hair.”Mac had a good shampoo for the tangles when she forgot her hair tie.
“It’s a dirty job, but I can do it.”
Mac held still as Barry released her and reached down on the floor for her shampoo. She watched him as he put a large dollop in the palm of his hand and rubbed them together until he had a good lather.
Mac closed her eyes and leaned back into his chest as he rubbed slow massaging circles into her scalp. He took extra care to get from root down to the ends of her hair.“There are a lot of knots in here.”
“I know.”Mac grimaced when his fingers pulled on such a knot.“I forgot my hair tie today. The wind does this when I don’t have it tied back.”
“Well, let’s get these knots out.I’ll make sure you remember a hair tie in the morning.”
“Who’s to say you’ll still be here?”she questioned, turning her head to look at him out of the corner of her eye.
“Kicking me out already?”
“I’m not in a rush.As long as you keep doing that.”All he was doing was rubbing her head, but it felt so good.He could do this all night if he wished, though there were other places she wanted him to rub.
“As you wish. Now close your eyes so I can rinse your hair.”
