“Eager?” Olivia joked, taking her time getting out.
“Yes, you have been teasing me all night.” If he didn’t get some relief soon, he might have a serious case of blue balls.
“Like you have room to talk. How many times did your hand slip up my dress? My panties are soaked.”
It had been fun to see how many times he could slip a finger inside of her, teasing her clit, before retreating. “I do love you in dresses.” He admitted. So much open access to her. His only hindrance was her panties. “I might need to do a closer inspection.” Heath stepped towards her, but Olivia avoided his hands and darted up the stairs to the front door, but Heath caught her, before she could reach it. “How wet are you?” His hand stroked down the back of her thigh, before coming back up the front and stopped at her panty line. Olivia’s head rolled to the side, giving Heath access to her neck, as his fingers slid under the cotton material to her nether lips.
“Heath,” Olivia said on a shuddering breath.
They might not make it back to his place, before he had her. His cock was hard and achy, as Olivia’s juices coated his fingers. “Open the door.” Heath husked, as he slipped a digit into her core.
Olivia groaned and reached blindly for the door, and then stiffened. Heath lifted his head from her neck to see what was wrong. The front door swung open without Olivia needing the key. Heath went instantly on alert, pushing Olivia behind him. “Get in the truck and lock the doors.” He whispered.
“Heath, I’m sure it’s nothing. Ivy probably forgot to lock it this morning.”
Heath wouldn’t be swayed. Whether it was negligence or a burglar, Heath wasn’t taking Olivia’s safety lightly. “Olivia, get in the truck and lock the doors.” He repeated.
He didn’t turn around to see if she listened, but he heard her footsteps fade, and then the door opening and closing, mumbling the whole way.
He stepped inside and pressed himself against the wall. Only when he was out of sight from the door, did he pull his gun from his conceal holster at his back. The light from his headlights gave him enough light to move around the living room easily. Nothing appeared to be knocked over, as would be typical in a burglary. He moved through the rest of the trailer not finding anything.
“It’s clear.” He announced, when he came back out. He made sure to put his gun away, before coming out, knowing Olivia’s dislike for them.
Olivia jumped out of the truck her eyes blazing with fury. She hit his chest with her fists. “What if someone was inside? You could have been hurt.”
“I was fine, Liv.” He tried assuring her, but she wasn’t finished.
“I would never have forgiven you, if something happened.” She hit him again. “I told you that Ivy probably forgot to lock it.”
“Nothing happened to me. I just wanted to be sure it wasn’t a break in.” Heath took her fists in his hands and kissed each one. “I’m trained for situations like this.”
Olivia collapsed against his chest. “I don’t want to lose you. Please, don’t take unnecessary risks.”
“I’m not going anywhere. Nothing looks like it’s been stolen, but let’s look around and make sure.”
“There’s nothing to take. I have nothing of value, but alright.” Olivia followed him into the house, turning on the light. She looked around and quickly assessed it. “Nothing has been taken or out of place. Like I suspected, Ivy forgot to lock the door this morning.” Olivia went into her room and came back out a few moments later with her bag. “I’m ready to go. I’ll talk to Ivy tomorrow about remembering to lock up, before we leave. Please, let it go.” She pleaded with him.
“Alright, but I’m going to help pick out some new locks for you, until you can move into a safer neighborhood just to be safe. That door lock is not enough to keep a burglar out.” Heath closed the door, as best he could, before leaving.
“The neighborhood doesn’t bother me, but my own bed would be heaven.” She mused. “Ivy and I have been sharing a bed for a while now. It would be nice to have my own bed.”
“No sharing? At all?” Heath asked, taking her bag from her and putting it in the back seat.
“Depends on who I’m sharing it with.”
“It better only be me.” He growled playfully, before kissing her soundly on the lips.
“I can agree to those terms.” Olivia said, when they finally ended the kiss.
“Good, now get in the truck. The sooner I get you home the better.” He gave her a playful swat on the ass, as he helped her into her seat. Olivia gave him a saucy grin, before taking her seat. With one last glance at the house, he got in the truck and headed for his apartment.
Chapter 32
Heath drove them to a quiet neighborhood with a mixture of houses and condos. It was a
neighborhood much like the one she had grown up in. She could see Ivy riding her bike down the streets here, having other kids to play with, and neighborhood cookouts. It was a family community. She instantly felt comfortable here, like a piece of home she had been missing, since leaving home.
Living with Royce had been glamourous and expensive. He always had to have the best of everything. It was never her taste, but she had put up with it for him, until she didn’t have a choice.
