Her fingers threaded through his hair before gripping him as he lapped up her juices. She tasted like heaven. Sweet and tangy. He couldn’t get enough.

His tongue darted between her folds, mimicking sex. Her muscles came down around him, almost blocking his path. He couldn’t have that. His tongue slid up to her clit again, swirling and sucking as he inserted a finger. Her muscles clamped down on the digit as if trying to pull it in deeper.

“Oh, god,” Fiona panted. Her head thrashing side to side.

He curved his finger, knowing exactly where to draw out her pleasure. Her eyes instantly fluttered and her mouth opened on a silent scream as he found her G-spot and rubbed it. Her legs quaked around him. She was so close. He was too. Her pleasure was feeding his own.

And then the dam broke. Fiona screamed as she came around him. Her legs tightening around his shoulders. Her whole body tensed and bowed. It was beautiful to watch. Her inner walls clenched around his finger and triggered his own climax.

He sat up between her legs, watching the dazed and passionate look in her eyes. He pulled his finger from her vagina, noting it was coated in her juices. He felt it on his face too. He licked his lips, savoring her flavor.

Fiona looked up at him expectantly. Waiting for him to fall upon her and fully claim her. Although he’d just come he felt himself swelling. Eager to be inside of her.

That’s when reality came rushing back. What had he done? He crossed a line that should never have been crossed. He’d made Ortiz’s sister come. With his fingers and tongue. Was already gripping his cock to fuck her.

The heated passion in Fiona’s eyes dulled to confusion. She saw his inner struggle. “Vince?”

His body filled with shame. He’d dishonored his best friend by almost sleeping with his baby sister. He was supposed to be protecting her. “I can’t.”

He couldn’t get off the bed and flee the room fast enough. He rushed for the en suite bathroom in Ortiz’s room to scrub the scent of Fiona off of him. As futile as that was. He could never get her taste out of his brain. Her throaty moans out of his ears. The blazing passion out of his eyes. He’d royally fucked up and didn’t know what to do about it.

Now, like four years ago, he’d be addicted to her. Now he knew her flavor and scent and wanted more. So much more.

Chapter 12

Fiona threw her head back and laughed as Alexia shared a story about Tony attempting to set up the baby crib and failing miserably.

After shopping for an hour with Savannah at the clothing store, they met the other ladies for lunch, which turned intogetting pedicuresand now happy-hour drinks at Marley’s, the local hangout bar.It was the best cure to nurse a broken heart.

“He had to finally call all the guys to help him. You would think it was a covert mission, watching these men organize and assign each man a piece to assemble.” Her voice turned deep. “You take point here, you set up here.”

Fiona wiped her eye as a tear leaked out, she was laughing so hard, picturing the men trying and failing to put a crib together. “Did they finally get it?”

“A few hours later, after I finally had had enough and read the instruction manual.”

“Men and directions.” Savannah shook her head. “They never learn.”

“Especially ours,” Catherine added.

“I get what they do is not for the faint ofheart, but that doesn’t mean they are above following a manual. The manufacturers put it in the box for a reason, and it’s not just to fill up space.”

Fiona couldn’t imagine Vincent following the instruction manual. He was a do-it-yourselfer. All the men were. They were hardwired that way. Taught to work as a team and rely on each other, no one else. Dammit, she had come out to keep her mind off of Vincent and yet he kept sneaking into her thoughts.

“You never told us what brought you out here.” Savannah nudged her, pulling her out of her thoughts.

“Oh, I needed to get away from my family before they suffocated me.” Shedidn’twant to tell them about her stalker and have more people worried about her.

“I’msurprised your brother isn’t back yet,” Catherine stated.“Since he left to find you and here you are. I assumed he’d be back by now.”

“He’s dealing with personal stuff back home.” The women looked at her expectantly, but shedidn’tindulge them. It wasJoaquín’s problem to deal with. When he was ready, he would tell the rest of their group.

“To friendship,” Savannah announced, holding up her drink.

“To friendship,” the rest of the women echoed before taking a drink. Fiona knocked her drink back. Since that terrible night months ago, she’d quit drinking, but now she was in a new state with her good friend. Savannah’s new friends were quickly becoming hers and helping her take her mind off of Vincent. She could drink as much as she wanted. No one was telling her what to do.

“You know, that guy at the bar hasn’t stopped staring at you,” Savannah whispered in her ear.

Fiona slammed her glass down, looking at the bar. It only took a second to see a man around her age staring boldly at her. When he caught her looking, he tilted his drink to her in salute. Fiona gave him a half smile she wasn’t feeling. He was cute, but she kept comparing him to an arrogant ass she’d rather forget. “I’m not interested.”
