This was wonderful, amazing and the most perfect joy she’d ever experienced. Ty pulled himself up, lay down beside her and pulled her into his arms, whispering of his love for her.
He held her, stroking the curve of her hip until her breathing began to slow and her heart returned to somewhat normal. It was fantastic and he hoped it was good enough for her that she would not be afraid in the future.
“Ty,” she whispered, leaning up on her elbow and looking into his eyes. “I’m sorry.”
“What could you possibly have to be sorry for?” he asked, surprised.
“For not believing you when you said it would be different this time, and for making you wait so long. Here I am getting paid to make you happy…”
“Don’t you ever say anything like that again,” he warned her. “You are not something that has been bought and paid for. I had no intention of finding a woman that night at the party. No one else could have even tempted me to do so, and I was convinced it was a waste of time. I only went for Marcus. Then I saw you and I knew instantly that you were special.
“I give you an allowance, not a paycheck and I can well afford it. If you never set foot in this room again, I would still fulfill my part of the deal. I want you in my life Kelsey, you're part of me now and I’m part of you, the money shouldn’t even be an issue. I don’t really care what you do with it; spend it, save it or give it to charity. I would tear up that damn contract right now but for the fact that a deal is a deal with me, that and I can’t bear the thought of you walking away.”
“I don’t need five thousand dollars a month to stay with you, Ty,” she answered. “I want to be with you. You make me feelcherished, even if you do threaten to spank me once in a while. You’re not going to hold it against me, are you, what you saw downstairs?”
“I should spank you just to show you how I feel about you trying to pull off such a ridiculous hoax, but right now I don’t have the energy,” he replied with a grin.
“Oh good,” she sighed in relief.
“Don’t relax just yet, Sweet Pea. Before bed tonight you are going over my knee for a sample of what you will get if you ever lie to me again.”
“But Ty, you just said…”
“I said I don’t have the energy right now and frankly I don’t want to spoil the moment, but it’s important for you to know that when I tell you something I mean it. It won’t be a harsh spanking, but you will think twice before trying to deceive me again.”
“Ok,” she whispered with a gulp. “I guess I do deserve something. I never meant to hurt you Ty.”
“I know that, baby, and I’ll take your motives into consideration, but I think you’ll take me much more seriously the next time if you know what to expect.”
Kelsey wiggled closer and nodded, loving the feel of his arms around her. If a spanking was the price of making things right between them again, she would submit gladly. Nothing was worse than thinking he was angry or disappointed in her behavior.
“I should get up and finish making dinner,” she told him, moving towards the side of the bed.
“That’s one of the reasons I came home early. I was going to tell you that tonight we are going out with Marcus and Sue.”
“Where are we going?” she asked popping up, a look of excitement on her face.
“We’re driving down to Lake Placid. Now it will be sort of a celebration for us, won’t it?” he asked, nibbling on her shoulder.
“Well not with a spanking hanging over my head all evening,” she said, pouting.
Ty laughed and slapped her bottom crisply. “A well-deserved spanking,” he replied, letting her wiggle away reluctantly. “Imagine what you would be getting, had your little plan been put into action.”
“What?” she asked. “I worked hard on that and I thought I was pretty good. Maybe you would never have known I was faking,” she challenged.
“Can you seriously stand there and tell me you think you could have pulled it off?”
“Well I guess it was a little over the top. I mean no one really makes that much noise.”
Ty started laughing and Kelsey just glared at him until he wiped the tears from his eyes and finally answered her.
“Sweet Pea, if we had neighbors, they would have been beating down our door, thinking something terrible was going on in here.”
“Get out. You’re teasing me right?”
“Sweetie, you were howling, fit to raise the dead.”
“I was not,” she insisted, blushing wildly. “Was I?”
