I caress her and pick her up and hold her against my chest.

“I think you swallowed every thought I had,” I tell her, rising to grab the soap and start cleaning her.

She gives a choked laugh. “Half your thoughts went down the drain.”

“All of mine did.” Erik’s voice is strained as he leans against the entrance to the shower, boxers shoved down below his still semi hard dick.

Tianna blinks. “How long have you been there?”

“I came in on dick drunk. Excellent imagery.”

“You liked that?” she asks.

We both nod.

“So I should come up with more? Bone hoarder? Dick dancer?”

“Fuck, I love you,” bursts out of me as she teases us.

She launches herself at me and fuses her mouth to mine. Then peppers my face with kisses. “I love you too. I love you both so damn much.”

She reaches over and pulls Erik by the back of his neck over to her and kisses him.

Erik lifts her from my arms and sits her down on the bench. “I can’t function without you,” he tells her as he places his mouth at her shoulder and starts working his way down. I adjust the shower so it doesn’t hit her in the face and give them some privacy.

Chapter one hundred forty

Downstairs the Earls have arrived. They picked up comfort food, daube with spaghetti.

I clap David on the back. “Thanks for always feeding us.”

“It wasn’t me today,” David says.

“He was tired, so I cooked one of my favorite dishes, and by that I mean…” James starts.

“He ordered takeout from his favorite place,” David’s tone is wry.

“If it’s daube, it must be Wednesday at Mandina’s,” James finishes as he starts opening bags.

“I did grab a Malbec that’ll pair well,” David adds.

“Sounds perfect. Erik and Tianna should be down shortly. I’m not sure where Meg is. I’ll text her.”

Fishing out my phone, I shoot Meg a text.

“How are you holding up?” James asks.

“The last twenty-four hours must have been brutal,” David says as he starts pouring from the first bottle.

Grabbing the silverware and napkins, I start setting the table.

“It’s been a lot. Can’t lie, I’m nervous having our leak be the former bane of my existence. In hindsight, she does seem protective over Tianna. I don’t like leaving something this important out of my control.”

They both nod, muttering sounds of assent.

David begins setting the wine beside the place settings.
