“Girl, don’t let him come in here and fuck up a good time,” Rhea’s hating ass stated with a turned-up nose.

I don’t beef with women. That’s not my genetic makeup, but if there was ever a hoe to get active with, its Rhea. She’s always around for bullshit. I’ve been cool off her since the shit back at Eris’ cookout.

“No. I need to go before he does something fuckin’ dumb. Hell, I’m tired. I’m saving all of us the headache and further embarrassment,” Eris responded.

“E, we took a car. We leave how we came,” Suki suggested.

“I’m closer this way anyway, Suki.”

“You sure you’re good?”

“She’s aiight,” I chimed in.

“Make sure she gets home, Rayzor, for real. I’m on her line the whole way there.”

“I’m already knowing.” I stood back waiting on Eris’ next move.

She hugged each of her girls and even the ones in the back before waving off to them and heading through the crowd with me on her ass.

“Rayzor, you leaving and not taking me with you?” Tamia, the woman I bought with me, asked.

“Yeah.”

“And with another bitch too.”

Before I could get into her ass, Eris was on her head with one hit.

“Rayzor, leave me the fuck alone and take your ass back to her before I end up in jail.”

I wasn’t hearing that shit. I pushed her out the door, hand on her waist. My truck was already out front because I told them not to valet my shit since I knew I wouldn’t be here long. I helped her up. She had an attitude but was too tipsy to argue.

Admiring the way that ass sat before she flopped on the seat, I closed the door.

The beginning of the ride was silent. No music, just the humming of my pipes as we hit the streets and then the highway. Peeping glances at her, she had her arms folded over her chest, forehead tight and how her leg shook told me she was pissed off. I didn’t give a fuck. I was at peace because it’s been too long since I last saw her.

“How you been?”

“You already know since you got people watching me and asking the kids about me every day.”

I inwardly chuckled. She was right. When it came to her, I knew her moves before she did. That’s how on her ass I was.

“Respect.”

Quietness.

“I miss the fuck outta you.”

She rolled her eyes. “You messed that up.”

“Why you letting a nigga suffer like this?”

“You look just fine to me.”

Turning into her driveway, she barely let me stop the truck before getting out and speed walking, damn near running to the door. I turned off and jogged after her because I didn’t like how she was treating a nigga. Like, I’m asking where my hugs at.

She was already inside, trying to close the door when I walked in behind her.

“You got me home, you can leave. What… you need gas money?” she tried me.
