We lock gazes for a few seconds and from the
corner of my eye I can see Liam watching us,
ready to intervene if push should come to shove.
But we’re talking about Aaron and I couldn’t hit
him even if he does initiate a fight.
So I turn and go, to take my time and cool off. I
go out the back door and rub my face a few times
with my hands in an attempt to clear my thoughts.
Is that really what I’m doing? Am I trying it on
