The moment Roman lets me go, my head falls onto his chest, and I groan.
“Too much?” He asks.
I lift my hand, pinching his lips together. “Stop talking.”
Kairo cackles, staring out at the calm waters as they gently flow against the ladder leading to the lagoon. “How about a little relaxation after that? Roman is a beast with a grill.”
My head whips up to Roman, who lifts a brow at me, my fingers still pinching his lips. “Steak. Can you grill steak?”
He nods, and I release him. “If that’s what you want.”
“Please,” I bat my eyelashes at him despite still having cum smeared across my lips.
He chuckles, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. “And you still have the time to be such a tease. Steak it is.”
I rise off of him, wincing as the dull ache in my body and fluids trail down my thighs. Maddox takes my hand, guiding me into the house as he smiles coyly. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”
And I’m swept off into the villa.
Chapter Thirty-Nine
Kairo
I can’t keep my eyes off Thorn as we wade through the crystal waters. I can see right through the clear barricade to her cute white bikini with strawberries peppering over the bra and the bottoms. She uses the water to slick her hair back before counting down on her fingers.
We’re currently in the middle of seeing who can hold their breath underwater for the longest, and so far, she’s winning. But only because I can’t stop staring at her long enough to last.
“Be serious,” She scolds, splashing me in the face. “If I’m going to kick your ass, I want it to be fair and square.”
I grab her wrist, dragging her to me as I smirk. “Fair, huh? Maybe if you stop flashing me every time we go under the water…”
She giggles. “What? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Oh, this little tease.
“Mhmm,” I hum, trailing my lips up her neck. “Sure you don’t, Thorn. You’re so innocent.”
Seeing the radiant way the sunlight shines on her is breathtaking. She looks so carefree and happy—a fucking vision.
She bites her lower lip before giving me a small peck. “I am. Completely innocent.”
I give her an affectionate glance, tilting my head. “You are so fucking beautiful…” The apples of her cheeks turn pink as she looks away from me, and I chase her eyes. “Gorgeous…” I kiss along her neck, reveling in the sharp intake of her breath as Ipalm her waist.
She moans low in her throat before pulling back. “I know what you’re doing.”
I lift my hands in mock surrender. “No idea what you’re talking about.”
She splashes me before holding her fingers up. “You’re not distracting me from whooping you at this.”
“Game on,” I challenge.
She counts down as I suck in a breath. We dunk our heads under the warm water at the same time, and my eyes remain open. Her hair floats around her face, and her cheeks are puffed up as she holds her breath. When she reaches for her bikini top, I lunge for her. I wrap my arms around her waist before dragging her back up the surface.
“Got you,” I smirk before lifting her into my arms and spinning her around. She giggles, the sound twinkling as the water sloshes off her before I set her back down in the lagoon.
“You’re both horrible at this game,” Maddox says as he sits on the deck in a pair of dark basketball shorts and a t-shirt. His feet are dipped in the water, but it’s the closest he’ll get to submerging himself.
I stick out my bottom lip at him, pouting. “Come play mermaids with us.”
