They kissed. Deep and messy and perfect. Sarah could taste herself on Lizzie’s lips.
“Was that okay?”
“That was perfect.” Sarah rolled them over. “But I’m not done with you yet.”
She took her time this round. Kissed Lizzie slowly, thoroughly. Explored places she’d missed before. Inside of her elbow. The curve of her hip. Behind her knee. All the places that made Lizzie groan.
“That tickles.”
“Does it?” Sarah kissed her inner thigh. “What about here?”
“That definitely doesn’t tickle.”
Sarah used her mouth and her hands together. Building Lizzie up slowly. She brought her to the edge twice and backed off both times, until Lizzie was begging.
“Sarah, please. I need to come.”
“Do you?”
“Yes. Please.”
Sarah finally gave her what she wanted. Used her mouth and fingers in the rhythm she knew Lizzie loved. This time when Lizzie came, she said “I’m falling for you” and the air left Sarah’s lungs.
She crawled back up and pulled Lizzie close. They were both shaking.
“Did you mean that?”
“Mean what?”
“What you said. When you came.”
Lizzie was quiet for a moment. “I don’t remember what I said.”
“Yes, you do.”
“Okay. Yeah. I meant it.” Lizzie looked up at her. “Is that okay?”
Sarah should say no. Should tell her this was just physical. Just spring break. But looking at Lizzie’s face in the dim light, eyes so open and vulnerable, she couldn’t lie.
“Yeah. That’s okay.”
Lizzie smiled and kissed her. Soft and sweet at first, then deeper. She pushed Sarah onto her back.
“My turn to make you fall apart.”
“You already did.”
“Again.”
Lizzie kissed down Sarah’s body. She was more confident now. She knew what Sarah liked. When she put her mouth back on Sarah, she didn’t hesitate. She used everything she’d learned. Every reaction. Every sound.
“Lizzie, I can’t. It’s too much.”
“You can.” Lizzie looked up at her. “Come for me again.”
And Sarah did. She came harder than the first time, her whole body arching off the bed..
They lay tangled together afterward. Neither could move. Outside the rain had stopped. Gray dawn was creeping through the blinds. The room smelled like sex and sweat and the beginning of whatever this was.
