He slides off the bed, and before I can ask him what he’s doing, his fingers wrap around my ankle, and he yanks my body down the bed. I yelp, the vibrator falling to the side as I stare at him wide-eyed, wondering what’s going to happen next.

“You’re beautiful,” he marvels, his eyes raking over my naked body.

I squirm at his words—or maybe it’s the primal way he looks at me. Either way, he’s barely even touched me yet, and my entire body feels on edge with desire for him.

“Jude.” I know I should say something else, anythingelse, but I can’t. I can barely form a coherent thought—let alone words—right now. I’ve never been so turned on in my life. It feels like my entire body is a live wire, and at any moment, I could catch fire.

He groans, his eyes closing for a minute. His fingers tighten against my ankle, and while I appreciate him touching me in some capacity, I need more. I want him to touch me in other places. I want him to touch me everywhere.

He opens his eyes, and the normal brown irises I love to stare into are all but gone. His pupils are large as he watches me closely. “You’re so fucking sexy when you moan my name like that, sweetheart.”

Sweetheart.

I’m a puddle at the nickname, and wetness pools between my thighs at his use of it.

He swipes his thumb along the inside of my ankle, the movement making me jerk. I’m so sensitive right now that even the smallest touch has me aching for more.

Jude runs a hand over his dick, his eyes focused on me. I don’t think he’s looked away once. I love the power I feel underneath his stare. He watches me like I’m the only thing to exist, and I can’t deny how good it feels to be looked at like that.

I’m about to beg him to touch me anywhere but just my ankle when he quickly moves, taking me by surprise. One minute, he’s staring at me with a look of pure need; the next, his hand wraps behind my neck, and he’s pulling my body off the mattress.

I blink, coming face-to-face with Jude. His breath hits my cheek as he places his thigh between my legs.

He moves to grab my face with both of his hands. It’s possessive and sexy, and my chest heaves with my labored breaths because of how turned on I am. His eyes rake over my face before he opens his mouth to speak. “Before we do anything else, there’s something I’ve been needing to do.”

“What?”

His only answer is to crush his mouth against mine.

Our first kiss—if you could really even call it that—was featherlight. It was calm and sweet and quick. Just as soon as it began, it ended.

This kiss is the opposite.

It’s desperate and hungry. Fervent. Heated. It’s so electrifying that I feel the kiss throughout my entire body.

Jude’s hands grip my face like I’m his lifeline. His fingertips dig into my scalp as his tongue pushes into my mouth with skilled determination.

I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without kissing him. His kiss is like a brand. It’s as if he knows this might be the one time we both let down the walls and give in to our attraction, and he’s going to make damn sure it’s a kiss I could never forget.

He tastes like wine, making me wonder if he had a glass after getting Ava to bed.

My hands find his chest as I try to steady myself. Our heads move back and forth as we kiss each other like two people desperate for air, and the only way to get it is from each other. My hands trail across his abs, and I try to commit the feeling of them to memory. They jump underneath my touch, his skin warm and his toned muscles hard.

His tongue circles mine as his fingers tangle in my wet hair, and I can’t help but moan. I move my hips, the movement causing my clit to press against his knee. I moan again at the sensation, grinding against his thigh to get some sort of friction.

I was so close to an orgasm before he even walked in that my entire body still feels pulled taut. I’m like a rubber band, threatening to snap at any second because of the desire coursing through my veins.

One of Jude’s hands slides down until he grips my neck possessively. He forces my head up, deepening the kiss, something I didn’t even know was possible.

This is bad.

Not the kiss.

The kiss iseverything.

But the way in which he kisses me is something I’ll never be able to wipe from my memory. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at him and pretend he’s just my friend when he’s kissed me like this.

Maybe that’s what he wants.
