“N-n-not yet,” he whined. “So-so close.”
I wasn’t going to make it. Moving a hand off his hip, I gripped his cock and pumped it fast and hard. I made sure to tease the sensitive point with my thumb, trying to bring forth his release before I lost control of mine. He whimpered, then mashed his lips against mine, desperate. A low groan ripped from me as a wave of pleasure crashed through me and my cock bucked, unloading my seed inside of him. Only a moment later, Wyn cried out, and his seed painted our stomachs.
Wyn flopped down on top of me, panting. I wound my arms and wings around him, my tail taking his, to keep him close. He’d said he would never do what happened in the experience suite again, but I couldn’t help but worry. I needed him close, especially now.
He pressed gentle yet needy kisses to my chest. “Again.”
I chuckled. “Another? Already?”
“Yes,” he said, biting me.
Grunting, I rolled so I was on top of him. His cock was already stiffening up. I needed a few more minutes. Wyn gave me a soft smile, his scales shiny with sweat. I ran my tongue over his forehead, making Wyn moan. He tasted of salt and the floralness of his scent.
“I will fuck you as many times as you want,” I told him, our eyes locked together.
He nudged my butt with his feet. “Good. Another time.”
Capturing his mouth, I did as my mate bid.
I got to my feet to get more water and peeked back at Monqilcolnen. He was still fast asleep with Cincin curled up right next to his head. I’d worn him out, apparently. We had ended up going three times before I was satisfied. When we’d come out, no one was waiting to use the room, but we did receive a few reproachful looks from the kanxan’si nearby.
The rest of the day had actually been fun. Monqilcolnen took me to the cat shrine, and we snuggled and played with the house gods there, then we ate at a Kanxan restaurant, which served roasted and pickled bugs and mushrooms that were delicious. We’d then searched for a new trinket for his office, choosing a floating rock from Lavanax’si in the end.
Brushing his cheek with the tip of my tail, I smiled softly at him and then left the bedroom. The shared space was dark, with only recessed lights along the edges to guide me. I went to the dispenser and got a glass of water, drinking it all, then moved to go back to bed when the door chimed. I paused. It was in the middle of the night.
Unless… He wouldn’t dare.
A snarl built in my chest. He’d better not be visiting Monqilcolnen at this time of night. I snagged a pair of loose trousers and yanked them on before stalking to the door. I slammed the button to open it, and Vorjyn blinked when it was me, not Monqilcolnen standing in front of him. His eyes trailed over my bare chest and landed on my crumpled wing.
I crossed my arms. “What?”
“Where is Monqilcolnen?”
“Sleeping, and no, I will not wake him. You need to leave.”
Vorjyn smiled, but it was a smirk that dug into my brain like claws and stirred a primal part of me. An urge to punch him, to rip him to shreds, washed through me. I ignored it as best I could. It wasn’t easy, though. I cared deeply for Monqilcolnen, and this man was attempting to take him away from me. It also didn’t help that his red eyes were completely dead, void of any emotion.
“Confident, aren’t you?”
“Monqilcolnen doesn’t want you,” I answered, though doubt curled inside of me. He’d wanted Vorjyn at some point, and Monqilcolnen hadn’t given me leave to speak for him.
“Then why are you trembling in fear?” When I didn’t respond, he continued, “Look at you pretending that you measure up to Monqilcolnen. Absolutely pathetic.”
“And you do?”
“No,” he replied. I blinked. Vorjyn chuckled, but it was a dark thing that made my tail flick. “Let me tell you some things, Wyn. Some might ease you and some… probably won’t.”
“I don’t need you to tell me anything about Monqilcolnen.”
“I highly doubt that.”
I swallowed. Did Vorjyn know things about Monqilcolnen that I didn’t? I could accept his cousins knowing more about him than I, but another man who still wanted him? Never.
Vorjyn didn’t bother to wait for me to respond. “I do not want Monqilcolnen as you do, nor were we more than fuck friends. Friends might even be stretching the word. I don’t have friends. It’s not in my nature.”
My brow furrowed. “Then why do you care?”
“Because Monqilcolnen saved me many times by simply being there, and he’s helped me escape my parents' clutches more than once. I owe it to him to protect him.”
