“Can you do that for me, baby? Can you show me how good you are for me?” His hand buried in her hair, pulling her head back so that she saw only him. His dark brows were drawn. His mouth a taut line. His black eyes burned. The expression was so carnal. He wanted her terribly, but he was willing to wait. Why?

She was barely in control of her own voice, but she managed to stutter out, “Yes…yes,Cole.”

“Good girl. So sweet.” He let go of her head and she allowed it to drop. She didn’t have the strength to hold it up any longer. Carter was there, watching her, reading her with those knowing golden eyes. He was so different from Cole, but the dominance in his gaze was undeniable. Dear lord, she was surrounded bythem.

“Again,” Colecommanded.

They converged on her as one. Carter took her into his mouth without breaking his gaze from hers. Entranced, she watched his darkly tanned hands on her thighs, kneading and holding her open. Her breathing hitched as his tongue touched her overstimulatednub.

Clint’s lips closed around her nipple at the same time, rougher this time. He pulled, taking what she hadn’t given before. His free hand found its way back to her other breast, pinching and pulling in unison. Tomi cried out and strained against her bonds. Her body felt like it would explode on the spot. Waves of euphoric sensations crashed over her. Building again. “P-please!”

She’d never needed to cum so badly in her life. The last ten years of self-given orgasms and vibrators were nothing compared to the fire licking up herbelly.

“Do you really need to cum, Tomi?” Cole’s hot breath fanned over her ear, his arms locked around her waist, pinning her backside to his hard length, still encased in his pants. She was the only one who wasnaked.

“Yes! Yes, please. I need it.” She was willing to do or say anything at thispoint.

“Who controls your orgasms, Tomi?” His patient, hard voice made her want to scream. He was asking too much, wanting her to admit to his control of her body. She was in charge of her orgasms. She was in charge of her life. Carter began to pull his tongue from her slit, and she bucked, reaching for his touch. Cole’s arms tightened with force, locking her in place so she couldn’t move an inch. “Stop.”

Both of the brothers’ mouths left her. Shock stole her breath. Cole was willing to wait for as long as it took. She knew what he was doing—he was systematically breaking her down. He wanted her complete surrender, not the ninety percent she’d already given him. And dear lord, she wanted to give it to him, but she was so scared. What if she lost him, too?

A sob broke free from her lips and she slammed her eyes shut, holding back the tears. She’d lost her father, the only other person in her entire life who’d ever loved unconditionally, while Cole was gone on his first deployment. The loss had torn her apart, and she’d known she wouldn’t survive anotherone.

“Tomi, look at me.” Cole’s commanding voice broke through her haze. She did as he ordered, letting him see hertears.

Her lips trembled at the look of utter devotion and compassion reflected back at her. “Please,Cole.”

“Why can’t you let go,baby?”

She shook her head, the violent storm of old fears warring with her desire. With her love. The truth was, she loved Cole Fury too much to survive if he died too. She’d thought it would be easier to walk away than to grievehim.

But she couldn’t form the words. Her throat closed, fear holding her lipsshut.

And as far as she knew, he could still be in the SEALs, one of the deadliest units in the entire military. The risk was toohigh.

Cole glanced at his brothers and nodded. Tomi felt them leave the room, but she didn’t see it happen because she couldn’t tear her gaze from Cole for even a second. He moved in front of her, cupped her cheeks, and stepped so close his chest scraped across her sensitive nipples. A shudder of need broke throughher.

“Why did you leave me? I know you didn’t leave for anotherman.”

She flinched. He’d read her like an open book. “I can’t, Cole. Please don’t askme.”

He closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath, and when he reopened them all she saw was pain. “I can’t bear not knowing what I did to drive youaway.”

Her breath hitched, a sob working its way free. “You? You didn’t doanything.”

“Not true, Tomi. Tell me.Now.”

His commanding tone was like a whip across her soul, but the earnest longing in his gaze gave her the courage to speak. “There was a report. On the news. A SEAL unit had been taken out. It was right after dad died.” Another sob ripped from somewhere deep inside her. “Some drug addict broke into our house and murdered him. I was there. There wasn’t anything I could do to stop it.” She looked up at him, her blue eyes pools of pain. “I knew I couldn’t stop anything from happening to you, either. I—I couldn’t risk it, Cole. The thought of you dying.” Tears ran unchecked down her cheeks, soaking the hands that cupped her face. “I wouldn’t havesurvived.”

“Christ, Tomi.” Cole’s face lifted with understanding. “You should have talked to me, told me how youfelt.”

“I couldn’t. I knew you’d convince me to stay. I’ve never been able to say no to you.” Her heart boomeranged in her chest, waiting on him to rage at her over her admission. “The only way was to pretend I didn’tcare.”

Cole placed the lightest kiss on her lips and then lifted his head, looking at her with unchecked adoration. “Thank you for telling me. But you should have called me. I would have been on the first planehome.”

She shook her head almost violently. “You were born for the military. Your whole family was. I couldn’t ask you to deny who you are. I wouldn’t do that toyou.”

“We would have worked through it,” Colesaid.
