“Sounds like a bargain for you. What do I get out of it?”

“All the irresistible cock you want.” It’s fun teasing her, but it’s time to get serious. “Baby, everything I am, everything I have, it’s all yours. Always has been. Do whatever makes you happy. As long as you do it here with me.”

Two years later…

Today’s the day.

“Hurry up, sis. You’re going to be late,” my sister calls out.

I step out of the bathroom and she sighs. “You’re so beautiful.”

“My mom said it looked slutty.”

“No offense, but your mom is a miserable bitch,” Athena says.

“True.” I turn and check the many thick, cream straps crisscrossing down my back and wrapping around my waist. Peach chiffon layers fall to my knees. Thinner straps cross my chest.

“You’re like Snow White meets Bondage Betty.” My sister giggles and snorts at her little joke.

“I never should have told you that,” I mumble.

“It’s pretty obvious,” Athena says.

“Luck told me first,” Karina corrects me.

“Hmm…I bet that’s breaking some sort of student-teacher confidence or something.”

Karina giggles and pushes me into a chair. After a lot of pulling and weaving, she has my hair twisted into a giant double-fishtail braid that hangs over my shoulder.

She tucks baby’s breath and small jeweled bobby pins in my hair until I really do resemble a fairy-tale princess.

“You’re really good,” I tell her.

She blushes and shrugs.

Athena comes at me with her makeup brushes next.

“Damn,” I mutter. I barely recognize myself when she’s finished.

“I made friends with the makeup artist on our show.” She giggles. “Always make friends with the makeup artist, or they’ll get even and send you on set with orange foundation or worse.”

Karina rolls her eyes.

Someone knocks, and Athena yanks the door open.

“Hi, Teal. Come on in,” I say, waving her in.

“Blaise is going nuts waiting for you. Thorn had to give him a shot.”

“Oh, great. He better not get shit-faced before we finish.”

Karina nudges Teal with her elbow. “You said hi to Thorn, I take it?”

Teal blushes, and glances away. “Trust me. I’m so over him.” She brushes lint off her dress. “He had his chance.”

“When?” I ask. “You turned eighteen like last month.”

She twitches and shrugs.
