“It’s not just my heart that you stole. It’s both of ours.Without you, neither of us will ever be the same.If one heart breaks, the whole chain will fall apart.”Asher smiled softly as I felt Enzo’s hand gently squeezing my shoulder.

“Then I guess it’s a good thing that I don’t plan on breaking either of them.My heart is exactly where it needs to be— safely tucked in between both of yours.”

I lifted the necklace out of the box and pulled my hair to the side before putting it on.

“This is the best gift I’ve ever received,” I said, sniffling.“I mean, besides the two of you.”

“And our cocks,” Asher teased, moving as I swatted at him.

“I’m glad you like it,” Enzo said, pulling me against his body.“But I still have a few other gifts I want to give you.”

I could tell by the tone in his voice that he wasn’t talking about physical gifts anymore.I giggled as he pulled me down onto the bed and laid on top of me as his hands and lips started exploring my body. With them, it would always be the gifts that kept on giving.

Ihated the idea ofsharing Violet on her birthday, but there was no way in hell I was going to say no to anything she asked for, let alone today of all days. After we finished giving her the rest of our gifts—mainly multiple orgasms—we got ready and headed back to the hospital so she could check on her dad.Thankfully, everyone had a chance to rest and recover, so we were all feeling clear-headed and focused.

We followed Violet into the hospital room, staying quiet in case her father was sleeping.I slowly closed the door behind me, turning to see her dad sitting up in bed, looking much better than he had yesterday.

“Hi, Dad.How are you feeling?”Violet asked as she walked to the bed and set her purse down in the chair beside it.

“I’m feeling a lot better now that I’ve gotten some food in me.These nurses have been spoiling me nonstop,” he replied with a slight blush, which made me realize where Violet got it from. His skin was as fair as hers, not helping to hide the flush of color as it stained his cheeks.

“Well, I’m glad you’re getting good care. You gave me quite the scare,” she said, squeezing his hand as she let out a heavy exhale.

“I’m so sorry, Violet.”He paused for a moment, and I could tell there was more to that apology than what scratched the surface.“For everything.I’m so sorry.I’ve been a terrible father to you, and you’ve deserved so much better than what I could ever give you.”

“Shhh...Don’t talk like that,” Violet said, frowning as she shook her head.“We don’t need to worry about any of that right now. You’re alive—that’s all that matters.”

“It took me almost dying and waking up toyouat my bedside. That was the biggest wake-up call I needed to realize just how bad I’ve messed up all of these years. With everything we’ve been through, you still showed up for your old man, no questions asked.”

“It’s what family does,” she said softly, lifting a finger to her eye to wipe a tear from the corner of it while Enzo and I hung out in the corner of the room to give them space.

“No, family sticks together no matter what happens.I fucked up, and I fucked up badly. But I promise you that I’m done with all of that bullshit from before, Violet.I’m done wasting my life away.I’ve been given a second chance at life, and I’m not going to waste it.”
