Chapter Six
Kara rode him hard, fuckinghim like he’d never been fucked before. Isar palmed her jigglingtits and groaned, gluttonously loving every second of it.“Faster, nee’ka,”he grit out. “Fuck me harder.”
She couldn’t get enough of him before shewore his bridal necklace, but now the need to be one with him wasutterly overwhelming. It was little wonder the Galian women who’dbeen claimed by warriors never returned to Galis. She doubted theycould tolerate the separation any more so than their warriors couldstand to be disconnected from them.
“I love you, Isar,” Karasaid thickly. She rode him faster, took him in deeper. “I’m sorrywe lost nine years together because of my foolishfears.”
“We are togethernow, pani. ‘Tisall that matters.”
She bounced up and down on top of him, perspiration dotting her skin. Her arousal grew impossiblystronger, causing her nipples to stab out and greet his palms. Theygroaned together as she rode him, the scent of their combinedarousal permeating the air. The feel of his massive cock inside herwas, as always, pure erotic bliss.
They came together on a loud groan, Karacontinuously riding him. As the bridal necklace pulsed and theycame together again—harder and harder—she allowed her training inthe erotic arts to sweep them away in unadulterated carnal ecstasy. They rode out the waves of pleasure together, moaning and groaninglike animals in heat.
This time, however, Kara kept her talentsbetween the two of them. As she’d told Isar before, she was donereminding the other warriors aboard ship of one of her many powers.Keeping them from working or from doing anything of substance forthree full days was reminder enough.
Their breathing ragged, she collapsed on topof her giant warlord of a husband. They laid that way together, neither saying a word, as the waves slowly began to dissipate. Itwas Isar who eventually broke the silence.
“I love you, Kara,” hemurmured against her ear. “By the goddess, I will always loveyou.”
“I love youtoo.”
A knock at the sleeping compartment’s doorsinterrupted their mutual, after sex haze. “Aye?” Isar asked a bitgruffly. “What is it?”
“’Tis sorry I am to botheryou, my King, yet did the Emperor send me with news for you and myQueen.”
Kara sat up, her forehead furrowing. Sheglanced at Isar.
“’Tis one of my warriors intraining,” he quietly explained. Then, in a louder voice, “Tell methen, Jarian.”
“I bring you news of theEmpress,” Jarian said loudly from the other side of the doors. “Sheand Queen Geris are scheduled to teleport aboard ship withintheNuba-hour.”
Kara’s ice-blue eyes widened. Her pulse spedup. Anticipation mingled with a misguided fear of rejection playedwar inside her. She hadn’t seen her sister in more years than shecould even attempt to count. Would she welcome her? Would she wanther in her life?
“Cease thy worrying, nee’ka,” Isar saidquietly. And then to Jarian, “I give you my thanks. We shall jointhe Emperor in the main console the soonest.”
“Aye, my King.”
Kara sat unblinking as the sound of Jarian’sfootfalls grew farther away. She had wanted this moment for literaldecades. Now that it was here…
“She will want you, pani. How can you doubtotherwise?”
“Hiding her daughter forall thoseYessat-Yearsimmediately comes to mind. Of course, I had no idea Kara wasmy niece at the time, but still.”
“She named that same femalehatchling in your honor, my hearts.”
“Yeah, well, she did thatway before I aided and abetted said namesake.”
Isar began massaging her shoulders. “Youworry for naught.”
Kara blew out a resigned breath. “I hopeyou’re right.”

Kyra nibbled on her bottom lip as she waitedfor the warrior-commander to teleport her and Geris to the othership. A myriad of emotions swamped her senses—anticipation andworry amongst them.
“Would you stop?” Gerissaid quietly, nudging her in the arm. “Of course she’s going to behappy to see you.”
