“Gio,” Dari gasped, grinding her hips up against him. “Oh goddess.”

He took his goodly time working her body into a pool of pleasure-drugged warmth. She groaned from the feel of his hands and mouth all over her body, forcing sensations onto her she could not name. Again her hips reared up, as if reaching for some outcome she didn’t altogether understand. She supposed ‘twas the desire to mate with him that had her body held in a fit of pique, yet she realized that particular act would not be forthcoming. Such knowledge nigh unto depressed her. Gio seemed to sense as much. He released her nipple with a popping sound.

“’Tis difficult for me too,” Gio murmured. He raised his head from her body long enough to smile down at her. “If you believe naught else, believe that.”

Dari smiled back. “Good.”

“Good?”

“I shan’t be the only one tortured within an inch of their sanity this eve.”

He kissed her lips before grinning back down at her. “Nay,ty’ka, you shan’t.”

Gio rubbed and kissed his way down her body, nigh unto driving her mad. When he settled his face between her legs, Dari wasn’t sure what to expect. Mayhap smelling the scent of no man having been near to her channel was the act he was now commencing? She stiffened.

“Forget my bedamned sire,” Gio instructed her, obviously having felt her tense up. “I would have smelled the scent of another upon you way afore this eve had such a delusion existed.” At her raised brow he explained, “This is for you and you only, pani. What happens between us has naught to do with my sire’s depraved command.”

Dari didn’t understand. Her lips parted to tell him as much when his mouth clamped down on her channel. Sensations that were nigh unto overwhelming slammed into her belly and coalesced into a knot of hedonistic pleasure. “Oh goddess,” she breathed out. Her head fell back onto thevesha-hidesas her body innately arched. “Gio.”

His tongue lashed out and repeatedly flicked at the small bud between her thighs. She groaned, her legs finding his neck. Dari used them to pull his face in closer, as though she never wished for him to stop. In truth, she didn’t. The sensations his tongue elicited nigh unto drove her daft.

Gio moaned against her channel, his tongue lapping at her. Just when she thought she could take no more, the flicking stopped. Dari’s breasts heaved up and down as she gasped for air. Thinking ‘twas o’er, she reached down and ran her hands through his silky black hair.

“Not yet,ty’ka,” Gio murmured. He raised his head long enough to kiss one of her thighs. “Not quite yet.”

Dari gazed down at him quizzically. Gio sipped her bud into his mouth and suckled from it, causing her body to scream for something she could not name. She threw her head back on a moan, that trite action not providing whatever that something was. Gio drew from her berry gently, eventually upping the pressure he applied to it. A delicious heat enveloped the whole of her body as her mind struggled for control of a situation she knew naught of. Gio continued to suck—and suck and suck and suck. Her mind lost out to her body.

Dari broke on a loud groan, her entire body convulsing, as Gio gave her pleasure the likes of which she had not known to be possible. Her black nipples shot up nigh unto painfully as he growled into her wet channel, lapping up the juices he’d extracted from her tiny berry.

When ‘twas done, Gio laid beside her on the raised bed and drew her into his arms. Her breathing labored, she gave into the warmth and security his gigantic body provided. Exhausted, the princess fell into a deep, blissful sleep.

“’Twas wondrous, that moon-rising,” Dari murmured into the void. “I never wished for it to end.”

“The king had worked so hard to ruin your eighteenth birthday, yet Gio worked equally hard to restore it.” Klykka’s voice was bemused before turning serious. “Still, I now understand why you could no longer ignore Elian’s depravity.”

Dari briefly closed her eyes. “Disinviting my parents was unforgivable, aye, yet ‘tis not the depravity of which I speak.”

“There’s more?” Klykka asked.

“Aye. That moon-rising provided no end of surprises—some of them wondrous, some of them evil. I shall tell you now of what happened when I awoke and left Gio’s rooms.”

“Go on.”

“I decided not to chance an encounter with the king or his favored bed wenches so I told Gio I would return to my rooms via the gardens. I didn’t want more idiocy about my bedamned virginity ruining my passing fair mood, you see, so even though the trek through the gardens was longer than the passageways I could have taken in the palace proper…” Dari sighed. “I assumed the gardens would be a preferable route.”

“Tell her quickly Dari,” Kari gasped. Her body continued to shake. “I’m running out of energy. We’re too far from the silver waters.”

Dari’s eyes widened. “Aye, of course.”

Dari made her way through Zentaria Gardens, her mood better than passing fair. With Gio’s rooms at one end of the palace and Dari’s rooms at the other, ‘twas going to be a trek throughout the whole of the lush paradise. Not that she minded. Quite the contrary, she couldn’t think of a better end to a wondrous eve.

Those who didn’t know the layout of the gardens would mayhap find it a puzzle of sorts, but such was where Dari spent the majority of her time onArakiaso she knew the terrain like the back of her hand. A smile enveloped her lips as she dreamily strode through a line of fruit trees that led to a lea of fragrant plants. She picked afireberryfruit from one of thepicitrees and ate from it as she continued her stroll toward the bevy ofkrosisplants that signaled the halfway mark.

“Suck harder,” she heard the king’s voice command. “Faster.”
