But Leviathan would hardly lose to such a thing anyway; he caught the brat’s arm as it swung and whipped around, twisting it behind his back, dragging a sharp gasp from Cullen. He spun instantly out of the grip, though, bringing his leg up in a kick so fast Leviathan lost his smug smile for a brief second as he dodged the strike. He shot a hand up, slamming it into Cullen’s chest with maybe a bit more force than was necessary, sending him flying back. He landed hard on the ground with a cry of shock–and shot up again with a furious snarl, racing for him again as dark shadows with pointed tips raced for Leviathan.

“The rage.” Leviathan breathed as they locked together again, their grip on each other deathly tight. “I like it.” He shoved him back, ignoring the slicing shadows at his shins, and darted backwards when Cullen moved to attack again.

“Faster.” He breathed, excitement blooming in his stomach, making him feel hot and impatient. Cullen growled and swung faster, his arm hooking a bit too far this time, sending him stumbling away.

Cullen let out another shout of rage and rounded on him, his hands clawed and threatening now, his dark eyes flashing with red as he came at him again. He’d been so distracted the past few days he had not brought up the deal they’d made, had not asked him to teach him how to make his eyes look human again. Leviathan hadn’t brought it up either, had wanted Cullen to remain looking like a demon just a little longer.

“Why are you so angry, Cull?” He taunted now, smacking the next hit away with ease. “Is it because you can’t control the shadows?” He blocked a strike and swepthis leg down, knocking Cullen off his feet. He landed with a hard thud and stayed there for a second longer before springing back up, his eyes blazing.

Leviathan drew his leg back and launched a hard kick into his chest–which the other man narrowly dodged, surprising him.

He swiped his claws towards Leviathan’s chest–and Leviathan gasped when the tips of those claws scraped across his shirt, tearing it and leaving stinging scratches across his skin.

Cullen froze as if he’d been struck, his eyes widening before they narrowed on his chest, his lips parting with a soft gasp. Leviathan watched him in surprise for a moment–and then smiled.

“It’s the blood, isn’t it?” He stepped closer. “You like the smell of it. Don’t you?”

Cullen remained frozen for a long moment, his chest rising and falling fast, and his throat working hard as he swallowed against the hunger that had taken over. And then he snapped his teeth together with a snarl and came at him again, his rage more intense than before.

“You son of a bitch!” He cried between strikes. Leviathan gave no response as he ducked and dodged, his hands coming up every few moments to block a kick and knock Cullen back a few feet. “The scent of blood? Are you fucking kidding me?! You made me into a fucking monster!”

Leviathan opened his mouth to respond, to tell him it was stupid to be angry, that he should be happy he would have an eternity to do whatever he pleased now–but he broke off with a soft gasp when tight shadows wrapped around his leg and pulled hard. It unbalanced him long enough that Cullen was able to slam a punch right into hisface. His nose gave a crack and blood ran down into his mouth, making a wild grin spread across his face.

Fucking hell. When was the last time somebody had drawn blood from him like that? How fitting that it would be his pretty toy that would cause the damage after all this time. It made him even more enthralling.

He flicked his fingers and the shadows snapped as if he’d cut through them with a blade. He sensed another one swooping down on him from behind and ducked again–right into another one that hit him so hard in the chest he was slammed back into a wall. A wall that he had not noticed Cullen was backing him into.

The brat gave a sudden laugh, a wild sound that sent a shiver down Leviathan’s spine, and when he brought his hands up again, Leviathan knew he must have subconsciously unlocked some type of technique with his shadows. The energy surged up behind the brat, creating a violent wave of darkness that surged and crashed together like a small sea of evil.

Leviathan grinned deviously and sliced his clawed hand across his own chest, tearing his flesh and causing the scent of blood to flood the space around them. Cullen jerked to a stop, his eyes widening before they glazed over with the darkness. Perfect.

Seconds later, Leviathan was behind him, his arms wound so tightly around his chest and his arms that there was no breaking free. A dirty trick, to distract him with the blood, but an amusing one. The benefit of fighting a young demon. Cullen squirmed against his hold, but his ferocity had dissipated and, after a moment, he gave up with a sigh.

Leviathan continued to hold him from behind, Cullen's back pressed flat to his bare chest, his arms tight aroundhim, holding his arms down. The scent of blood was starting to get to him now; it was all he could do to remember to take the opportunity to hold Cullen close to him.

"Fighting you is kind of pointless." Cullen muttered, sounding annoyed, but much less angry. "You're always gonna win." He didn't miss the slight catch in his voice, the breathless undertone. His hands moved back slightly, wrapping around Cullen's wrists lightly. Cullen tensed.

"You'll get there." Leviathan said softly. He could see goosebumps form on Cullen’s neck when his breath blew against his skin. "Someday you'll beat me. When you've got a thousand years of practice under your belt."

"By that point you'll just have even more fighting experience. So I'll probably always lose." His shoulders drooped.

Leviathan let his fingers slip under his sleeves, running his hands lightly over his arms to feel the hard muscles under his smooth skin. His eyes widened slightly as he pressed his face into his hair, inhaling that lovely scent of his. Cullen shivered and started to draw away from him. "Don't–"

Leviathan ran the tip of his tongue from the base of Cullen’s neck up into his hair, letting out a low groan. A whimper escaped Cullen, startling both of them. Cullen quickly cupped a hand over his mouth as Leviathan pulled him harder against him, sliding one hand under his sweatshirt and down over his stomach. He shuddered at the hot skin he could feel beneath the t-shirt.

"S-stop touching me." Cullen gasped, tensing. Leviathan growled quietly, dropping his hand lower, pushing into his pants. He growled softly at the erection he found there, his hand curling tight around it and squeezing.

"Fuck…" Cullen gasped, arching into the touch. His hand shot down, curling tight around Leviathan’s wrist. A weak, breathless moan left him–and then he shoved away from Leviathan, spinning and landing another fierce punch to his face. Even with his new strength, the punch was too weak to do much more than turn his head an inch. But he let his gaze remain off to the side, hearing Cullen pant as he stepped further away.

"Bastard." Cullen spat at him. And then he was heading for the doorway. Leviathan stood panting in the middle of the room, rage flaring through him. His hands clenched into fists, but he only closed his eyes, listening to Cullen's retreat while he tried to ignore the heat building in him.

A groan escaped Cullen’s throat as the pressure built up in him yet again. He clutched at the sheets with his free hand, his back arching as the orgasm threatened to crash through him. But it wouldn't come. After a few more tense moments, he gave up with a heavy sigh, throwing his arm over his face. He had lost track of how many times he’d tried to jerk off and failed to have an orgasm in the past week.

He was going fucking insane.

He sucked in a slow breath and glared down at his erection, his jaw clenching. He'd never had this problem before and he wasn't sure why he was having it now. He’d thought maybe he’d just been too in his head but…it wasn’t going down. His body wasn’t responding to anything he was used to using to calm himself. And there had been plenty of nights where he’d had to take care of himself, in some way or another. But now…
