“You talking like I stank and you are trying to send me a message or something.” Frowning, I waited on his reply. His eyes roamed my naked body before speaking.
“I’m just saying, before you start;don’t.”
“Whatever, Sin, get out so I can shower.” Kissing my lips again, he walked out, making sure to close the door behind him.
After showering and washing my hair, I got out and threw on something comfortable. Sin had been coming into the bathroom every few minutes to see what was taking me so long.
“How you go from, ‘Wash ya ass good’ to ‘You taking too long’? Make it make sense, Sin.” Fussing, I slid inside of his truck while he closed my door behind me.
“Yo’ ass was being petty because I said don’t take forever. You didn’t have to take an hour shower.”
“Sin, you obviously need some pussy to get your brain working properly because, Baby, you are doing too much. Let’s go.”
“You know I need some pussy. Talking about ‘obviously’. If it’s obvious then gimme some then. Gotta a nigga out here withfull balls and a fucked-up attitude,” Sin mumbled, and I had to laugh. He was in a full-blown conversation with himself.
“Aww, my little baby is upset. I'll fix you right on up later. I won’t even tell you to hurry up because the baby can feel your dick poking his head, this time.”
A smile came across his face at the same time his foot pushed on the gas, speeding us to his parents' house, which wasn’t far away. They literally all live walking distance, but my ass wasn’t about to walk two miles over there.
Getting out, we headed inside. My stomach growled when the aroma of food being cooked hit my nose. “It smells like she’s cooking Thanksgiving dinner in here.”
“Something like that. She just wanted to do something nice for you, Bri, and PJ before this next championship game.”
“I hear Brooklyn, so that means Zoo is here, too, right?”
“He isn’t. When I called to tell him that Mama was cooking to celebrate you guys, he asked if PJ would be here, too. When I said of course, he told me he was cool and would catch us later. Which shocked me because that boy loves my mama’s cooking.” Sin chuckled. “He doesn’t care what’s on the menu, he’ll be here no matter what.”
“Wow, he’s that upset, huh?”
Sin nodded. “He is. Zoo ain’t never felt like this for no female, so he’s really fucked up by what PJ said to him. He’ll come around, eventually, because Brooklyn and I have been trying to talk to him but right now, he’s still hurt.”
I felt bad for Zoo. He was really a sweetheart. I’d have to talk to PJ again because she had to fix this. Her attitude is what messed them up. I knew my sister, and her mouth could get real nasty, and she had no remorse until it was too late. Which is how it was right now.
Sin’s mom walked out of the kitchen, wiping her hands off on a towel before she tossed it back over her shoulder. “Hey, Baby, how are you doing?” Reaching out, she hugged me tighter than the panties I had on. I had to make a mental note to go buy a pack of panties from Walmart because these cute ones didn’t sit right on my stomach anymore.
“I’m good. How are you?”
“I’m always good, Baby. I never let anything get to me. I’m too old to be stressed about things that go on in my life, so trust me when I say, even if I ain’t good, I’ll make sure that I am soon.”
“You ain’t got nothing to be stressed about. Daddy makes sure you are good,” Sin added.
“Chile, I take care of yo’ daddy. Now get out of my conversation and gon’ on in there with Brooklyn’s loud ass. I thought Zoo was in there with him but it’s just him, yo’ father, Bri and PJ, in there talking about sports. By the way, where is my nephew?”
“He said he’ll skip this one.”
Sin’s mom eyes bucked. “My nephew sick?”
“Nah, PJ got him out here heartbroken,” Sin told her.
“I’ll call and tell him that I have a plate aside for him to pick up later. That’s not like him to skip a meal, so he gotta be really in his feelings. I’ll make sure that PJ get one scoop of food for breaking my nephew’s heart.”
I tried not to laugh but that was funny.
“Nah, Ma, give her a scoop and a half. This dinner is for her, too.”
Mrs. Renee smacked her teeth. “She better unbreak his heart and fast.” His mom was joking but I could tell she still meant that shit.
“Gon’ in there, everything is almost ready.”
